Not a fan of install and how it sticks out from the airbag cover, wish it was more flush, looks kinda bulky like it doesn’t belong there and I hate that look lol , but love the look when lit. Still worth the time to take out the air bag and learn how to take out the airbag. Will revisit this later for a cleaner install. Changed the center console light to white which matches the leds in the switches.

Here was my order of parts plus some other junk. Black Friday sale..... I don’t wanna hear it. First of all it took 3 months before I even got the order. still no high beams hooked up yet. Have them hooked up this week

Looking really good that light pattern.
The cutoff is clean and the burning point are strong. Very well done.

No hesitation you burning for light, why aren't you building a auxiliary light rig?

In the past I did have light sickness also.
Did run 5 x NBB alpha 225 with 100w d2s xenon and 2 x h7 100w xenon on the high beam and the regular 35w on driving light's on my Passat.
Think I will build something to the winter for my Tahoe.

But you maybe aren't in to lights like that?

As far as exterior lights I want everything to appear stock. No pods or bars for me. Simple setup like I have now is perfect for me. And works amazingly

Yea hers is fully hooked up with leds inside and out. Besides hid lows and fogs. They didn’t make clear markers for her car so I improvised lol. She’s ready to trade it in, looking at mid-sized suvs...mainly the telluride or the palisade.
It’s been a hood car tho, but is a car and a little small. Time to upgrade

2nd battery tray came in today . Install tonight, right now on my way to the zoo with a mild 61 degree sunny day.

So I was told I need an isolator. Not sure which one works best. Never installed one before.

Well that turned into a 2 hour project

So the new tray didn’t come with a holder thingy. Here’s the stock one from the original battery on the drivers side
Also the brace won’t be going back on

So I ordered one and made a ghetto version till the new one come in the mail.

Also gotta wait till Monday to get terminals and have a buddy crimp them.

Ordered a bunch of plastic rivets. I was running low and hated the mismatched ones.

got some blue brushed aluminum vinyl wrap for the bowtie

cleaning the garage and going though stuff and found one of these old school bulbs.

Dave, I know theres an auto parts store around. They have the battery hold down with bolt on those help racks. Just sayin if you want to cancel your order and pick one up now, prolly cheaper too

Spring time cleaning. After this I will invest in some floor liners. Realizing they’re worth their weight in gold

Wish shipping wasn’t so bad or else I’d get some dark grey carpet

I forgot about the lovely murder stains in the back . but for the most part everything came out pretty clean. Don’t forget the door carpet, why manufactures thought that was a good idea i have no clue.

Got an appointment with the dent dude. (Actual business name is Dent Dude lol) He wanted $300 to do some big dings I had then said he would just do the whole truck for $500. Figure it’s fair given it will put value back into the truck and he does amazing work from what everyone says, highly recommended. Worth it

All from previous owner. . Super noticeable since the rest of the exterior is near flawless (by Alaska standards lol)
