Do you know what rpos or package. called for the AXN rear? I think I have it in my Express van.

I know many pickups have it. For SUV with our suspension it is usually found under 2WD Suburbans, Yukon XL, Escalade ESV and Avalanche. This is even true for GMT800s. This makes it a true bolt on affair, without any cutting or welding. Don't know about the vans. I've collected some axle assembly part numbers and a few VINs so when the time comes and I've forgotten everything, there's a written record to jar my memory.

I never knew there was an OEM "HD" axle. Did it come with the same (just larger) Eaton Gov-Lock or a better design of LSD? If a better LSD, I'll be looking for a totaled LWB!

My 09 Tahoe 4x4 has the AXN axle from the factory, and I think the G80 in it is the same style as the 8.6" axle, its just larger.

Poo. I had a Zexel Torsen from a Camaro SS in my S10's 10-bolt when the original Gov-Bomb did it's thing at 35K miles. I loved that diff. Is there one for our trucks, in either the 8.6 or 9.5 flavors?

*Edit

I see Torsen has one for the 8.6 30-spline. GMT900 is 30-spline, yeah?
