So finally back after a month on the road doing some shows.

Thanks again for the advice you guys have given so far.

It seems my rear diff cover is leaking and it's driving me nuts.

I also believe I have a leak around the oil pan.

Any suggestions on shops or mechs in Minneapolis?

There's a writeup to fix it if you search, and are inclined enough to do it.. it's about $20-$25 to fix the cluster yourself.. pretty common to find plenty of people who can fix it on here, or ebay. You might find someone recommended for $100-$200.

But isn't the odometer different from the stepper motors and needles?

I'm thinking there maybe either damage or false contacts.

Yes. Usually it just needs the solder reflowed in the odometer to fix it.
