01 Yukon SLT, how do I tell if it's Bose or No-Bose?

    You mean driver's side?

I've replaced the rear hvac resistor pack before and had to do all that for the other side. Was hoping it would be a bit easier for the subwoofer

I just replaced the sub in a 2001 non Bose Tahoe. After some research I bought this sub. It was definitely $50 well spent. Drop in replacement. No modifications to the sub or factory box. Check out the reviews also. A lot of people using it for the same application and are happy.

I wish I knew if it was definitely a bad subwoofer. I found a new GM unit (box and speaker) for $75

Well the sub puts out sound, but it sounds real muffled and wimpy/fuzzy. The sound from the rest of the speakers sound real tinny. Maybe the amp is bad. Not sure how to test it. There's no option in the Tech2 menus like there is for my 2012
