Well now you've all piqued my interest. Looks like another trip to the salvage yard for either a Z71 or a 2003/later switch and harness to try getting rid of DRLs.

My 2000 Tahoe headlights never come on during daylite hours only at night. My Yukon on the other hand the headlights are on all the time probably because the running lights only work once in a while (light sockets are Burnt and cracked).

It's so comical that GM decided that we want auto-on headlamps but don't want to pay for a switch that actually has an OFF and an AUTO selection. Typical...
