Hi, new to the forum. Wanted to check with you guys about lowering the rear of my truck. its a 2000 Gmc Yukon Slt 2wd vortec 5.3. I recently purchased a belltech 2/3 lowering kit which included torsion keys for the front and springs for the rear, with lowering shocks. My truck currently has 26'' U2's. When it got lowered the front looks like it got lowered more than 2'', looks like a 3" drop. In the rear it looks right. I like the lower look from the front so I want to drop the rear some more to look like the front. So I wanted to check what can i do to drop the rear 2 more inches, since I already have the 3" springs installed. To make it a 3/5 drop

I was looking online and found a DJM 5" rear drop kit the DJM RK2000. Not sure if it will work with my 3" springs or if I will have to also buy new 5" lowering springs.

Miguel I have the same issue with the 2/3 drop and was considering doing a 3/5 drop kit...are you saying just replace 3 springs for the 5...how does it ride now...

Since I allready had lowering shocks in the rear I was able to just buy the 5" drop springs and swap them out.The ride is good on smooth roads and bumpy on bad ones. I recommend doing the free travel mod in the rear so the truck doesn't bottom out. Also the rear kit with shorter end link's. All though you can get away with just the drop shocks and 5" springs for the drop just like I did.
