Had the same exact issue with mine, sensor good, missing the dome. Spent the $20 and carefully popped the dome off the new part (it's snapped on, not glued) and snapped it on my existing sensor. Quick 5 minute fix...

The whole dash top has to come off to gain access and it twists out like a headlamp bulb...not difficult, just takes some time.
