    0-20w oil

That's disturbing. I've been using dealer changes, so hopefully AC Delco. The thing is, if they were using the wrong oil, I would expect it to be 5w-30, hopefully synthetic. *Also, Bob9280 says he has same consumption issue with Mobil 1...

2022 Tahoe aftermarket airbags for towing - do they exist?

Oh, absolutely. My understanding is these shocks are in addition to the springs.

2022 Tahoe aftermarket airbags for towing - do they exist?

I'd just extend the valves and use a portable compressor.

2022 Tahoe aftermarket airbags for towing - do they exist?

Seems the squat is pretty square on the tires. Here's the only air shocks I've found...

Getting a new to me 2023, Have a couple questions..

I haven't really heard of oil consumption on the gassers. My diesel uses a quart between oil changes - since new. If I were you , especially if your state has buyer's remorse laws, I would demand evidence of lifter spring repairs, or lack thereof. If it has had only one side done, you need to...

Getting a new to me 2023, Have a couple questions..

Write into the contract a warranty it doesn't use a quart of oil between changes. When these units are good, people don't get rid of them, especially a year old. You don't say what engine, but could be using oil or could have had one bank of valve springs replaced before GM changed the policy...

GM to stop sharing data with LexisNexis and insurers

No, but all of them have it, it seems. A slightly different one: https://www.libertariancountry.com/products/you-are-here-dystopian-reality-shirt

https://www.redbubble.com/i/t-shirt/Dystopian-Venn-diagram-you-are-here-by-gypsyfy/107175183.IJ6L0.XYZ My OCD stopped me in my tracks. It's appropriate, but not "accurate".

GM to stop sharing data with LexisNexis and insurers

Oh, yeah, but it's not EV exclusive. It's new cars. I'm done. Rolling my clock back to at least 2013, 2006 for diesel.

GM to stop sharing data with LexisNexis and insurers

Well, yeah, It doesn't help that coal rollers are allowed to procreate, justifying more oversight. Banks was getting plenty of extra power without blowing soot everywhere.

GM to stop sharing data with LexisNexis and insurers

The only way to stop it is one at a time... I say let's start by repealing the part of the Communications Decency Act that holds these giant social media companies harmless.

    0-20w oil

Using GM guidance is kind of suspect, given their lawyers made them say one quart in 2000 miles is normal. It just isn't. And if you have a good engine, it's disingenuous of you to say it is. What they mean is "it will get through the warranty period". Also, what if you have an .017 LM2? That's...

2023 Tahoe Premier towing issues, no air ride

Okay, these guys say their rear shocks are what I'm looking for: 85 psi unloaded, 110 psi towing. Uses the stock shock mount...

    0-20w oil

I wish there was a 5w-30 Dexos D, so I could just run it and see if my Tahoe stops using a quart between (short) oil changes.

    40,000 Mile Report

Yeah, I'm over that. Got a Banks iDash installed. Sure, I had to pay extra, but it looks pretty integrated. But joke's on me, Banks abandoned the Derringer development and didn't even have the dignity to tell us. What I'm not over is GM just blocking you from finding a root cause because they...

    40,000 Mile Report

Sooo, not paying the dealer to do a $3500 Camshaft Housing replacement per 22-NA-027. 1) because it's stupid expensive, and 2) because our truck doesn't have a Housing in the affected serial number range (cost us $400 to find this out, because I'm not in a position to take the time to do it...

    40,000 Mile Report

Any idea how much it costs to do the second bank? I'm 99% sure I'd just have paid to do it and try to get the money back later. One of the stupidest policies ever. I hope they changed it because they were getting hammered in public opinion. Right now, I'm planning to do TSB 22-NA-027 on my own...

1000 miles from home dead 2022 Denali

The dealer I purchased from wouldn't give me the regional manager's number. Customer care still hasn't forwarded my request. Going to a new dealer this week.

It's a Duramax. ;) And I will definitely be asking for them to pick up my 7/70 warranty cost.
