Probably a dumb question but let's say I'm asking for a friend.. yeah that's it. ;)
We recently had the torque converter replaced in our 2017 Tahoe.. It has 48k miles on it. As additional preventative maintenance, I want the rear diff oil changed.. I was going to also ask the dealer to...
So my 2017 'hoe (purchased CPO) recently had the torque converter replaced. That comes with a hefty replacement of trans fluid and was done roughly 4-5 weeks ago. Yesterday it was warm enough to turn on the AC and as luck would have it, it's blasting hot air. it's not even remotely cool...
OK I feel dumb... Apparently when I changed the battery in my 'hoe, it lost the date... The date was 9 years off.. I fixed the date in MyLink head unit... turned the truck on/off, and now Android Auto works once again like a charm. :)
So I learned a bit more about Android Auto.. basically, there's nothing in the head-unit to really update... All updates happen on the phone. I'm guessing the issue is corruption on my phone or the USB cable.. I cleared all my cache on my phone and will test again later today..
Hello,
I have a new to me 2017 Tahoe LS. The first few months my Galaxy S10 phone could be connected via USB cable to use Android Auto.. Worked great. Recently though, I now get an "error 8" on my Galaxy when I connect it via USB. I assume some new Android update was installed on my phone as...
Hello,
I recently noticed that my Range disabler has a led that illuminates when plugged it.. What's odd is that led changes intensity as I drive. Sometimes it's really bright and I can see my feet in the dead of the night.. and other times is very dim. Almost like it's activating /...
I agree... I asked for my thermostat to be replaced.. then got the TC also replaced under CPO Warranty at 44k.

Well I'm shocked. My wife picked up the Tahoe today... They replaced the Torque converter under CPO warranty (reminder, this thing is a 2017 with only 44k on the clock). I'm thrilled and very anxious to drive it the next few days. I have the list of parts on the service slip if anyone is...
My wife spoke to the dealership yesterday... they said they took care of everything I requested (except the tailgate scratches).. I'm anxious to pick up the truck today and read the service report. I'll be driving it to work for the next few days so i'll report back how it goes for anyone...
To me, the shudder is like a pulsating feeling while under light/medium acceleration. I feel it most, I think, in 2nd gear heading to 3rd... Sometimes I'll also feel it after a downshift from 3rd to 2nd and again under acceleration.
Truck is at the dealership this week for a list of issues.. severe water leak from the shark fin antenna (sigh)... oil change... attempt to buff out some scratches in the lift gate (don't ask), and to check out the shudder issue. The issue isn't terribly pronounced so my gut feeling is that...
Hello,
My 2017 Tahoe has the occasional transmission shudder like many of you. At one point, I had the updated GM Service Bulletin that included the model I have. No idea why I didn't save the damn thing. Now I can only find Service Bulletin 18-NA-355.
Can anyone help me find the exact one...
"My wife was driving and says she didn't hear a thing."
Sorry for your loss but that quote made me laugh.. and we might be married to the same woman. ;)
This? It's only for 2019-2022 MY with the 8 speed transmission...

Well... I am an idiot.. but at least I'm an idiot with a brand new battery!! hahahah...
As it turns out, the dimmer "rocker" switch was turned to the lowest position during a recent detailing of the interior.. In my haste to assume the worse, I didn't follow my normal troubleshooting 101 type...
