Having the same issue and did not find too much info on this. I pulled off the motor on mine and disconnected the board and the brackets swung completely free. In my case it definitely was not the brackets or any binding. I plugged the motor back in while still disconnected to the bracket and it...
Also, my battery was only about 18 months old and showed 13v but when I brought to the store for a deep cycle test they said it was toast. Went with a platinum agm for the new one hopefully lasts much longer.
If you just touch them together it instantly drains all the electricity and could cause harm like a sudden jolt. The resistor allows it to drain slowly, same idea when draining an ac capacitor. In reality probably fine as there should be very minimal residual voltage left in the system but still...
Not exactly the same symptoms but basically my Denali ran like shit in limp mode for almost 2 months, shifting all crazy no power no acceleration. Brought it to 3 shops and finally the dealer. No one could figure it out. Finally they said it needed new ecm possibly bcm as well. I replaced the...
Mine had same issue when purchased second hand, I noticed others were way less noisy and it ended up being the motor. It was in it's way out, pretty easy install and back to normal.
Have you tried resetting the old one, was told I needed a be ECU and bcm and reset the whole truck with a new battery and everything works fine. Think it was the bad battery causing issues. Even after a new battery still didn't work until I reset.
Solved
Update on this in case anyone having similar issues. I noticed the abrupt down shifting was completely fixed by turning off the grade brake system (holding in trailer button for 6 seconds)
In that case it was clear that was the problem.
I located the harness near the brake pedal...
Any update on this? Still having exact same issues after new throttle body so thinking break sensors or maybe just reset bcm? Did they replace the sensor or just clean them?
I've read about every post about the heated seats but can't figure out if mine are possibly not working or it is normal for them to not really get warm. I really don't notice them getting warm at all but the heated seat lights come on and stay on. Can someone confirm I should be able to feel...
Solved, I purchased a new harness and installed a new air filter and even purchased a fourth MAF sensor and this all made zero difference. Called dealer and was told it must be the ECU and it would need to be replaced. While searching estimated cost or if possibly a diy I came across a thread...
Update, brought car to a shop and after two days could not figure anything out. A week goes by still drives like it's towing a yacht without a trailer while I wait for an appointment at the transmission shop. The morning of my appointment the car is totally back to normal, I bring it in anyway...
Swapped these in yesterday and huge improvement. Not sure why really as they seem very similar to the Bose speakers and the Bose were not your typical crappy OEM speakers but after installing these kickers there is a noticable improvement.
On sale right now as well.

Car drove totally normal all weekend, this morning it is right back to where it was with no Power / Acceleration. Could the MAF been the fix but the new one now failed?
Update, I just took the car on the highway, at around 50mph I tried flooring it and all of a sudden the car woke up. Came to a stop and floored it off the line and it was totally back to normal? Is it possible or was the sensor but needed some time to reset?
So it's got just offer 100k, I don't think it's burning any oil and I change every 5k full synthetic myself. Gas has been pretty much just Costco and I have recently added some techron. I took a look at the throttle looks good and also sprayed that aerosol sea foam in there. No difference at all...
