Traded my 2022 Yukon for a pickup

It was a very good vehicle. Got a killer deal on it new. Traded for a new 2023 gas Denali pickup with a big rebate and healthy discount. 3 dealers offered me more Actual Cash Value than I paid 18 months ago with 20,000 miles on it now. I do tow 5000 lbs 2x a year totaling 3000 miles. Ordered...

    6.2L or Duramax reliability

12 miles is plenty to get the diesel up to temp. I routinely drive 5 miles most mornings with no problems in 18000 miles.

    3.0L Duramax Towing?

Yes, daily mix of highway and local is about a quart every 1500 miles

    3.0L Duramax Towing?

Just towed 1400 miles from FL to NY. 3.0 Yukon Denali 4x4 without max tow or air ride. Pulled a 4800 +/- lb loaded 18ft cargo trailer with a trike and a sport bike nose to tail as well as a couple hundred pounds of other stuff. Trailer was slightly nose heavy due to trike up into the V nose...

New guy. Wanting to buy a denali

Just saw a video where a GMC vice president, of what I don't remember, told a financial group that among other great profit numbers for GMC, the Yukon/ XL is now "sold out". Any dealer that thinks they can squeeze out a few more sold orders may be mistaken.

Can anyone recommend a dealer to order from who aggressively discounts?

You will wait many, many months to hopefully see your 2024 Yukon at Rivard. They would not even place the 2023 order until they knew their allotment numbers.

Bet you added the "wrong oil" to your LM2

Pretty sure I did over the summer when it was a quart low. Mobil 1 Ow-20 even said Dexos near the bottom and licensed by GM. Why was it wrong? It is not specifically designed for diesel engines (Dexos D). All the containers I looked at in Advance Auto and Autozone today had a starburst...

Those with 2023 orders and updates.

Thousands below MSRP. The 2023 has a higher hp and torque and a 3.73 rear end with Max tow. Reports are it runs even better than a 2022.

I also decided not to wait any longer and changed my order to a Sierra. Should know today if it got preference. Missed my pickup, so that was the straw that tipped the scales

Waiting list is very long for any Yukon Denali at my large dealer. That will not change anytime soon.

    I'm done!

That ASSumes manufacturers want to build more vehicles, which several CEO'S have hinted is not their new business plan. Half a point interest rate hike will have no effect on a $80,000 vehicle. Welcome to the new world order...

Nope. Standard operating procedure for the past 2 years.

    I'm done!

Bought a 2022 from this dealer and got 9% off the real MSRP. Typical Florida dealer charges a $899. Fee, not negotiable. Possibly the best deal in the country. You can see their pricing on the GMC website.. No way am I paying sticker plus elsewhere. Rivard in Tampa.

    I'm done!

Just went to the dealer to get the whole story about where I was in the pecking order at the dealer level. While not every question was answered fully, the general manager summed it up best with " plan on it being 5 to 6 months from now which most likely makes it a 2024". One other item that...

Hope GM chokes on their 2024 models instead of building 2023's. Just a way to have several more price increases. Not gonna do it, "wouldn't be prudent".

Those with 2023 orders and updates.

Dealer told me over 50 Yukon orders sitting. Didn't say where I was. Very large dealer, so 50 might have only been 6 months like he stated in July. Tired of guessing who F'd up what in the GM world. Believe half of what I see and none of what I hear from now on.

Those with 2023 orders and updates.

My selling dealer just told me "GM is so backed up that by the time they get to my Denali diesel order, pano roof,, no packages or max tow it will be a 24 model". This is a dealer I have bought 2 new vehicles from and was told to expect a 6 month wait back in July. Anyone else heard that kind...

PDI is not the same as a dealer signing the transport company's drop off bill of lading. Once a dealer signs it without damage noted if physical damage is found later then the dealer is on the hook. PDI is suppose to be a checklist of mechanical operation and fluid checks among other items.
