I did the dod & vvt delete about 6 months ago. I used the BTR torque cam. Anyone else using this cam feel free to chime in. It didn’t seem to do much for my 13 Tahoe. I had my heads machined (clean up mill), seals springs valve job etc, new 10295 oil pump, tune blah blah blah….wish I had...
My 13 Tahoe has the 3.08 (gu4) gearing. It sucks. I want to go 4.10’s as I do some mild towing from time to time. I have a couple questions.
1. Will a gt5 front diff from say 08-09 Silverado interchange?
2. What carrier will I have to use for the rear diff to swap those gears to 4.10...
Well the dod/vvt delete went smooth as butter. Fired right up on first start. Now for the fine tune. Got a local guy that is a wizard with hp tuners. Check out Big Dogs Tuning on Facebook. Kevin Winstead. Sorry for no 1st start video….if anyone has any questions just message me.

I’ve started my dod/vvt delete. 2013 Tahoe 4wd. I disassembled yesterday and I started reassembly today. I went with a BTR torque cam and matching springs, deleted vvt, complete dod delete including pressure relief in the oil pan, melling 10295 oil pump etc. First time messing with an LS...
Is your truck 4wd/AWD? If so did you drop the front diff or let it hang to remove the oil pan? When I do my delete I’m replacing the oil pump. Going back with a gen 3 pan also. Just wondering if I have to drop the diff completely out.
I plan to delete the dod and vvt soon on my 13 Tahoe. I have all the parts. Going with the BTR torque cam. Just trying to decide who I want to tune it. No one local where I live. As of right now I want to go with blackbear. I have experience with Lund tuning and the ngauge, data-logging etc...
