I know a nipple when I see one

    Transmission selector cable

did you drill perpendicular into the nipple to make a hole for the cotter pin? Or did you drill parallel into the nipple from the back? See red lines

    Transmission selector cable

Yep, thanks! I did see the Fitzall #T74498-1A. Not sure if that is the one you used. It looked the most promising of the bunch, but unfortunately it's not getting here until the 10th or so. So you have to drill out the nipple on the shift lever?

    Transmission selector cable

OK, so 14104 was a complete waste of time and money. The bushing itself stays in the cable nice and firm and does not go anywhere but the hole is too big for the lever nipple and it pops off too easily. I went with 14073. It fit fairly snug on the tranny lever. Not sure it's going to actually...

    Transmission selector cable

I'm having the same problem with my 09 Tahoe. Bought the Gorman bushing kit from O'Reilly #14104. It does not hold the pull cable. The cable still pops off the lever nipple. I'm going to try #14073 next. It's a little different, has a snap ring.

Brushed Aluminum / Silver trim in what models?

Does anyone know what years and models the brushed aluminum pieces (window switches, radio bezel, LH & RH Vents, long center dash piece with 2 vents) were fit to? I'm not talking about people who swap them out after the fact. From what I can find, brushed aluminum were used in all police...

P0300 + P0204 Misfire no spark on passenger side 8-6-4-2

Based on the dirt in the port hole just behind the throttle body, I believe that.

P0300 + P0204 Misfire no spark on passenger side 8-6-4-2

I used throttle body cleaner. The TB wasn't too dirty, but the plastic housing just behind it was very dirty.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Cleaned my throttle body. TB itself wasn't bad but the plastic entry behind it was quite dirty. Used the clone Tech2 to relearn idle. Engine seems to run smoothly. no misfires. Was getting a P0113 + CEL for IAT low / high voltage prior to cleaning the throttle body. That P0113 appeared ever...

Time to test the MAF and replace if necessary. I've seen some good videos on the process.

The 09 that i wish id never got but now own opinions please

If it was me I'd look at a few things 1. How many miles are on that 6.2L? 2. How much would it cost to put a good used motor in there? 3. How much would it cost to rebuild that motor? 4. What other problems does it have and how much would those cost to fix? Total all of that up and compare that...

P0300 + P0204 Misfire no spark on passenger side 8-6-4-2

Swapped junction (fuse) boxes. Didn't solve misfire on #8. However, the fuses for #13 and #18 are nice and snug now. I will probably keep the replacement box. Decided to put my original ECM back in the vehicle. NO misfires now, which is great. My conclusions after all of this: I am attributing...

P0300 + P0204 Misfire no spark on passenger side 8-6-4-2

Yep! once I felt the fuse was so loose for #13, first thing I did was bend the metal teeth so it would stick better. Don't have entire bank B misfiring anymore; just 1 cylinder and it looks like #8.

P0300 + P0204 Misfire no spark on passenger side 8-6-4-2

#13 and #18 fuse slots still wiggly, even with new fuses. I bent the fuse for #13 so that it wasn't loose; the misfires go way down. Fees like only one cylinder is misfiring now. I'll test with tech2 in daylight to see. I'll go pull a fusebox from a local yard. They aren't expensive and they...

P0300 + P0204 Misfire no spark on passenger side 8-6-4-2

Changing the connector didn't fix anything. I'm not surprised. I Checked fuses figuring 1 or more may deal with a whole bank. My fuse in space 13 which is the "INJ-B" fuse, is loose as a goose. I interpret "INJ-B" as Bank B. I googled to confirm: "INJ-B Fuse 20A Fuel Injector 2, Fuel...

P0300 + P0204 Misfire no spark on passenger side 8-6-4-2

Ended up taking it to two different shops. First one said bad engine harness and ECM ($1300). No way and no thanks. Second shop said bad X2 engine harness connector + 1 bad coil. After the diagnostics at both shops I ran out of coin. 2nd shop wanted $600 to change the connector. Towed it out...

P0300 + P0204 Misfire no spark on passenger side 8-6-4-2

The ground connections looked OK. I still took them off and wire brushed them thoroughly which didn't solve the problem. I tested at the ground bolt, I'm getting 12-12.3v at both. I assume if that is the case, that means the ground wiring going to those points is OK. If I can find one...

OK Thanks. I'm going to get my wirebrush and clean it off very well and then inspect the back one too.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write everything. I appreciate it. For pinouts, sorry, I meant on the ECM plug side. My thought was to check continuity going all the way to the ECM. For example, what this guy does starting at 3:40 I updated my OP - Using a spark tester, I have no...
