This Yukon might be the end of me...
2015 Yukon, 160K miles. Just had the transmission rebuilt about 10K miles ago. Noticed some fluid in the driveway...trans fluid, crap.
Removed the plastic skid plate and honestly there's fluid EVERYWHERE. I can't isolate where it's coming from. It looks to...
This issue was intermittent but now is seemingly permanent.
It started as a “Service Rear Vision System” warning but I still had an image. Now it’s just a blue screen with the service warning. Every now and then the image pops in but not often.
I’ve read of others replacing the camera to no...
Have a 2016 Yukon with the 5.3L motor, 150K mikes.
Starts fine, and idles fine, but hesitates when accelerating. It also slightly sputters when giving it gas in park. No issues with stalling. No codes with an OBD reader, no CEL.
Also when accelerating it sounds very tinny and like the RPMs...
My RSE screen won’t turn on in my 2016 Yukon.
I replaced the RSE #20 fuse on the passenger side which didn’t change anything.
When I push the video button on my in dash screen nothing happens.
Even with no signal, it used to at least turn the LCD screen on. Now it does nothing.
I fiddled...
I posted another thread about the challenges of hooking up an AppleTV. I figured I'd post another one about the Roku Express which actually works REALLY well.
Power
The Roku Express pulls power via USB which is awesome. No messing with the factory or external inverters. Just plug it into an...
I figured I'd post this as an FYI as I try to put an Apple TV in my 2016 Yukon. Let's just say I'm having mixed results so far, LOL! I'll update this as I go and hopefully others chime in with their experience too. There's also a summary video at the end.
Power
First issue was this. My Apple TV...
I have a 2016 Yukon, and I’m wondering if anyone knows the screen resolution for the rear entertainment screen LCD?
i’m installing an Apple TV, and I’m just trying to set the resolution to match if possible.
Okay, so the ultimate goal is to hook up an Apple TV to the RSE in my 2016 Yukon. I'm having an issue with the 120V outlet in the center console. For some reason it won't power up my Apple TV.
Steps so far...
1. Plugged Apple TV into center console outlet. Outlet light turns on, I hear a click...
My passenger rear door handle has a cracked cover. I have a replacement that matches my other handles perfectly. With the passive lock system is there enough slack in the wire inside the door to swap these without taking the door interior apart?
That would be awesome...but I have a feeling...
My passenger side mirror doesn't want to move very well. I thought at first it was the motor going bad but it looks like the mirror part is off centered in the housing. This causes the mirror to drag on the inside edge of the housing. Not sure if it popped off and they glued it back on or what...
Just wanted to say hi! Excited to be a part of the community. I've always loved GM's full sized SUVs and finally found a deal I couldn't pass up. Just brought her home today. It has a ton of bells and whistles...still discovering a few, LOL! Black on black with 129K miles. I'll be posting...
