    OEM Engine Block heater

I drive ~9-10 miles in the morning from home to work, a majority of that mileage is on the highway, going 65-70mph, and my temp hardly ever reaches the 195 my thermo is rated for. Keep in mind, i let my truck warm up on cold mornings for almost 15-20 minutes. Would i benefit from having this...

    Bigger fuel tank?

I read on another forum where a guy ditched his OEM 26-gallon tank and got a 45-gallon tank installed on his 2003 Yukon. Since then, I haven't been able to find anywhere where such a tank existed. My problem right now is that my 26-gallon tank is filling up from 'E' with 20 gallons, and since...

    New Mats

thats what my problem was with it. I wanted the gray, but the tan was the only one available. Since my interior is two-tone anyway, i got the tan. However, I will point out that the tan is much more tan than in the picture. Its almost like a bronze-ish tan. It looks awesome, just was more...

    New Mats

Part number (from Summit) is RGG-8398902. I dont know what kind of crack the customer support specialist is smoking, but it fits PERFECT. Doesnt budge when my mother in law rides in the back, compared to my fiance's weather tech mats. By the end of the night, theyre turned 90 degrees! LOL Jon

    Roll pan, questions and concerns

Bump In hindsight, I think I should have just gotten the roll pan. We were able to paint the primer bumper I did get with the rustoleum color match paint, no professional paint job at all, because now I need the extra money to figure out what the hell's wrong with my coil packs. A friend of...

    Coil pack question

I have a bad coil pack(s). It is preventing me from maintaining normal highway speeds without throwing the CEL, and is making starting the truck very difficult. I already installed new plugs and wires, and the O2 sensors are all new (issue occurred before they were installed). Is there an...

    More questions!

I was thinking about this the other day. So many Wranglers rolling around this time of the year without their doors off has got me jonesing to do the same with the yukon. I dont know if anyone has ever done it, but i was wondering, in theory, could one modify their Tahoe/Yukon's existing doors...

    Fog lights

Dont tempt me, lol...i love LMC. So far have not been disappointed by the prices nor the service. I think I am just going to remove the valance altogether for now. Went to the pick a part the other day to look for the valance with fog light pods and there wasnt a single one, meanwhile there...

    Race mesh grille for SL/SLE/SLT?

I think I'm just going to go with the billet grille on LMC's website that has the removable logo. Cheap and it even looks good. Also, removing my front valance altogether (long story) and popping on my painted trim cap. Thanks. Jon

    Rear backing plates

Not exactly. Turns out, in order to get the original one-piece plates off that rusted away, you still need to take apart the axle. Figured while they had it off just install the replacement one-piece and save me $10 in parts. Make no difference on the labor. Jon

    Theoretical question

Front is bent a little, lol, so it may need replacement down the road. My father in law just made us a logo..."MIDNIGHT BUMPER COMPANY: CUSTOM BUMPER INSTALLATIONS" lol Jon

    Fog lights

LOL...I meant that if I was taking the bumper, might as well leave the valance attached. Get it? :) Jon
  16. J

    Theoretical question

Why not? LOL Actually its because I got the bumper and didnt get all of the necessary hardware to mount it back on. Literally the previous owner ripped out anything he saw fit to keep with his "custom look". Looks pretty sharp though, right? :) Jon

    Race mesh grille for SL/SLE/SLT?

Chrome, no GMC. If the '05 Denali to '04 Sierra grille swap went so well, what did you do about the considerably different marker light pods and trim cap? I only want to buy a grille insert, not an entire front end lol...thanks Jon
  18. J

    Theoretical question

---------- Post added at 10:30 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:29 AM ---------- The old one rotted off, the new one wouldnt go on without more hardware, so this was the solution at 11PM last night lol

    Fog lights

The chrome is fine, its just that on the passenger side its a little pushed in. Not dented, just pushed. I think we might be able to get away with bending it. Worst case, I'll just take the front chrome bumper WITH the valance. Screw the speed clips lol. Only problem is that nothing in that...

    Race mesh grille for SL/SLE/SLT?

If you'd like to...I'm certainly the last person that would like to inconvenience someone lol. But seriously, if you or anyone can answer the question regarding the compatibility between 2000-06 denali and regular gmc grilles, that would be AWESOME. thank you!! Jon

    Theoretical question

I have lol. And now that I got my s**t custom bumper off, the cops will be seeing the light too...my license plate lights that is. I'll post a picture soon... Jon

    Fog lights

Glad to hear that! Feels pretty good when a project comes together, lol. I was a little confused on how to remove the valance from the bumper, otherwise i might have gotten it yesterday. Any suggestions? Also, would I be able to bend the bumper back on my own? Or should I just leave it to...

    Race mesh grille for SL/SLE/SLT?

So to answer my question, the denali and regular gmc grilles are the same, even for 2000-06 models? The one I found was $70 plus shipping, and LMC only has one grille that you can add/remove the logo, but it looks like crap. Thanks... Jon

    New Mats

UPDATE--I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Rugged Ridge mats. I tried finding a gray set of them that had a one piece rear mat, but all they had was tan. I got them a few days later (fedex ground...nice) and popped them right in. Easy to install, fitment was excellent, especially the...

    Rear backing plates

UPDATE--I read on the ChevyAvalancheClub.com forum that BOTH one and two piece setups are compatible with all models of that year range (2000-06), so I picked up the two piece from Advance and dropped it off at the mechanic. I received word later that it was incompatible, so they were going to...
