    Lift or Drop, I just don't know.

    I did my rollpan and pillars first because I couldn't decide on what to do for wheels and suspension. I don't know if I should lift or lower it. In my Silverado I ran a 2/4 drop and a 3/1 lift. Basicly stock rake hurts my eyes, more so with these wheels....hahaha. I'm bored here's a poll.

    You guys use high mileage engine oil?

    The Tahoe I bought has a tiny bit of the GM knock sometimes when I start it up cold and then it goes away pretty fast. It didn't knock at all the day I bought it. (go figure) Should I be running high mileage oil in it since it has 105,000 on it? i've always just used valvoline 5w30 in my stuff.

    is it hard to replace the carpet in these trucks. my 01 is clean looking, but the previous owner had a damn wolf dog and when it gets hot it smells a hint of wet dog or something. i already have shampooed it and used auto fabreeze on it.

    crap i broke my shifter linkage

    i broke the plastic piece that helps hold the shifter linkage in place by the trans pan. so now i can't put it into park or reverse unless i get under the truck and do it manually, because it falls out of the bracket. anyone have to replace any part of that linkage before?
