    I got 20x8.5 with 35 series tires, 4/6 djm drop, flip kit in rear w/ notch and 2" spindles and 2" springs in front, DJM calmax shocks all around. Notice frame 2" off ground

    Well quit last night at 10, worked about 6 hours, got the front done and the back is about 80% done. It's a lot of work, but gonna be well worth it. I will have pics up this afternoon.

    You can send the dash just to scuff up the surface. You would have to use like 100 grit and sand the shit out of it to take texture away.

    The amount of clear doesn't really effect the paint sticking to the plastic. Why does nobody want to do the prep work when painting?

    Looks good. Mine has been painted for month or 2 and holding up real well. Did you sand the dash and the primer?

    I would sand before prime. Thats what I did to my dash. If there is any shine at all left on plastic that paint job aint gonna stick for a long time.

    My fm is dumped at rear axle and it sounds good. But I don't want it sounding like a stock car.

    Painting Center Console

    Sand with 200 grit, spray with krylon fusion primer, sand again, then spray with krylon flat black fusion for plastic, then with satin clear. Thats what I did to my dash.
