Least problems? 18+ with 5.3 or 6.2?
Most of the guys with 8 speeds seem to have good perceptions of them with the newer blue label mobil 1 fluid. That seems to have cured most of the issues folks were having.- Red Chevy

It doesn’t require PICO, just GDS2, or any of the run of the mill tuning softwares of OP has a buddy with HPTuners or EFILive. You’re right about the flush being the recommended solution though. 2015-2019 5.3 any good?
The 6SPD transmissions on the newer trucks seem to make it ~150k miles and then the converter conks out and takes out the trans if you don't catch it quickly.
