Just looking for some guidance on differentials. I have a bit of pinion noise in my 95 Yukon. I figure while I replace them Id like to go LSD conversion since its my winter beater LSD should help my currently one wheel wonder get around without having to go into 4x4. Now I dont have any...
I have a 95 yukon with the 5.7 TBI. engine over heated and turned itself into a diesel this morning so then it stalled out on me. its got 250k miles so being a little long in the tooth I figured see what my sources can come up with. I know a guy who has a 5.7 vortec TBI from a 96 1500. I dont...
I cant seem to find much good info searching the interwebs but I want to fix or replace the front seats in my 95 Yukon, first long drive since Ive owned this truck and the front drive seat at its furthest forward setting is still pretty reclined and uncomfortable, also has a tear in the leather...

got the fuel pump changed out and fired right up, runs good now but still surges a couple times after letting off the accelerator so on to that endeavour. I havent checked for any vacuum leaks though Id think that would be more consistent.
little more info on it since I was able poke at it on break. I used a test light on the connectors in the TB and when cranking it will pulse so that should rule out the ignition module I believe. then it would be between wiring to the pump or fuel delivery to the TB
thats what I thought. I tried to break that line loose cause the lines were a pain in the ass when I did my fuel filter. I should get the same results if I tap in where the fuel filter is right? since those lines were recently broken loose.
I get it. I do a bit of DIY but almost all my experience is with tuner cars. the reason Im at this point is generally KOEO you should hear the pump prime and Ive heard fuel pumps are common on these. along with the ignition module. I can swap parts all day long just the diag I have trouble with...
I have a 95 Yukon with 5.7l TBI I recently got with 240k miles. good shape but needed some maintenance. I replaced plugs and wires, fuel filter driveline fluids and its been running decent for the most part. however sometimes when Im driving and let off the accelerator it surges down before...
Thanks for the info on the app, I will definitely use it. I was looking to see what others with similar vehicles are getting away with or what people have had to do in order to make it happen.
I dont mind doing a little trimming I plan on beating on this thing a bit anyways haha
Ill start out by saying Im sorry for the ignorance but Im new here.. I have experience working on tuner cars and fitment with those but I cant seem to find a solid answer for stock suspension tires for my 95 Yukon. I just picked it up Saturday and I plan having it be a winter/light offroad use...
