Hey just curious what has worked well for other people to put bikes on the roof of the Tahoe. I own a few mountain bikes and bmx bikes and it would be easier to take them camping if i could put them up on the roof

Thanks for the advice on the ground locations. I figured since its easy to swap and a cheap part I would try the tccm, and it fixed my problems, lights are back on the switch and the service 4x4 light is gone

02 z71 4x4 problems continue. New switch, new encoder, same problem.

I did clear the codes. And I cleaned the ground points under the driver door. 2002 tahoe z71 Service 4wd light on, no blown fuses, new selector switch.

I have read that before replacing the tccm that a dealer can reprogram it or at least tell you if it's the module that has shit the bed. Is this something a used part would work for? I have a few self service junk yards near me and I could pick one up from them for pretty cheap

2002 tahoe z71 Service 4wd light on, no blown fuses, new selector switch.

That app will read the tccm? Everything I have been reading has said only a tech 2 can read it. I can take it to a chevy dealer but if I could scan it myself with a Bluetooth module I'd prefer that lol
