2015 Yukon XL Denali Low acceleration grumble sound

Took it to a recommended Transmission shop. They put a scanner on the OBI port and we took a test drive. Turns out the impeller and clutch were slipping hitting over 200rpms when engaged which was causing the noise. T Converter shot and a full rebuild is needed, $4.5k is the estimate. New...

2015 Yukon XL Denali Low acceleration grumble sound

No this is a metallic grumble/vibration sound you can hear/feel below the driver and passenger seats. I have a feeling it is the trany going out.

2015 Yukon XL Denali Low acceleration grumble sound

Installed a Magnaflow Cat Back exhaust with a K&N filter. On the way home after rounding a residential corner and applying minimal throttle I heard aloud grumble (hard to describe) sound under the vehicle like a blockage was happening or the flow was restricted just for a few seconds then gone...

Hellwig vs Hotchkis sway bars and how hard to install

Just installed front and rear Hotchkis Sway bars and Moog sway bar links on my 2015 GMC Yukon XL Denali. Bought the complete front and rear kit which did not say in the description but included basic front sway bar links in the box. Old rear bar was looking aged and sway bar links were showing...

Looking for at Cat-Back systems ....

Update - I went to my local respected muffler shop (not one of those hack places). They understood my concerns and agreed the MF tip was too big and hung to low. Bought 1x 3.5" 90 degree elbow, 1x 3.5" 45degree elbow and a black MBRP 3.5" inlet 4" outlet tip. Cost $135 to install. They used...

Looking for at Cat-Back systems ....

Some added pictures of the MF exhaust tip from underneath and behind. Would be nice just to cut it off and maybe put a stubby chrome tip or a pipe going straight to the side. plus Stock exhaust prior to removal. Any ideas?

Looking for at Cat-Back systems ....

Tip is the wrong size and hangs too low, for my taste. Want something more subtle. I see that Banks makes an oval 3.5" inlet 4.35"x5" outlet in Stainless or Black. Thinking the Black might look good with my black wheels and black lower trim. With it pointing more to the back as the stock tip...

Just installed the Magnaflow cat back on my '15 yukon XL Denali (Model 19040) Sounds great, nice low rumble, roars to life when the pedal is down Feels better off the line with a stronger throttle response when combined with the K&N filter installed Fits perfectly, looks great under the car...
