Sometimes the drone is ten times worse than the carbon. Only reason I think it’s back pressure is low presence of vacuum. Rockola 1971 your right though, the dumps are only temporary. I have two broken exhaust manifold bolts on driver side. Bet you can guess which ones? That’s right! Number one...

Teamiez you’re absolutely right, I seriously think it’s combination of not enough back pressure, and the factory tables for everything are just out of whack from all the mods

Hey thanks for the reply Joseph, unfortunately I don’t have a scanner. I have had ses light on for months due to the egr delete, and rear o2s are not in due to lt header install. I’m kinda scared how many codes it might find. The truck sounds so good I hate to mess with the new exhaust. I think...

Think it’s just a vacuum line man definitely need to get that fixed. Sometimes that nipple can be pulled out of the throttle body or even rotates.

Maybe just need to keep driving like it is until I do my cam swap and intake manifold/TB then go for tune and see what happens. Almost just seems like a back pressure isssue

Truck also wants to seem to almost stall while in reverse, almost like an aggressive cam would act.

Hello to all. Wondering if anyone can steer me in the right direction. I have a 2000 GMC Yukon slt 4wd with 5.3. Cats were plugged so I deleted them when I did my long tube install. Also did cai, and egr delete. I have 1 7/8 speed engineering LT’s going to 3 in x pipe with a foot or so of...

2000 Yukon slt really weird Hvac issues

Truck seems like it always takes awhile to get to operating temp. Another thing I noticed yesterday is when I set to defrost in the front, I can hear the air in the vents on top of the dash but physically feel no air coming out.

Hey, to all. First off happy New Years to everybody. So I just noticed this about a week ago that my front climate controls seem to be working intermittently unless the temperature is all the way on hot. It doesn’t seem to blow good heat until fan and temp are both set on max. In the rear on...

A sound clip of those kooks headers would be nice. I have been looking at those. They are a little pricey, but with parts like that you get what you pay for. I’m sure they will definitely outlast cheap Chinese knock offs that you can get for less than two hundred bucks. My question is which ones...

It’s four wheel drive, yeah I’ve noticed how expensive things get pretty quick. Reminds me of buying parts for my diesel!

Hey guys, new to the site. I just purchased my first non Ford truck. 2000 GMC Yukon. I’ve done a little bit of research on the truck so far. Curious if anyone can recommend a good middle of the road header for the old 5.3 ? I’m gonna start with air intake and exhaust. Probably do those at the...
