If you take the valves out just make sure to keep them in the same holes they came out of. Shouldn’t need to lap them if they are in order.
What I did was carefully use a 3m bristle brush and a good power wash with purple power (diluted of course) and they came out pretty good compared to what...
I will try the 02 sensor idea. May end up just getting new ones beings I will want new ones when I do the swap. Am I ok in assuming that the Downstreams wouldn’t be causing the issue I’m having? Everywhere I read it says they won’t cause driveability issues. They will be tuned out anyways
I do...
I will probably end up buying a battery for it. But I will keep this in mind. Especially since I’m swapping from my 2000 Tahoe daily to this piece of junk lol
Ok so I have a video of what it’s doing. BUT! when I went back out to read it again I had issues with keeping it running and even connecting to the scanner. Well I pulled the ground cable off and found it had a nice layer of green corrosion. Cleaned that off and reconnected it, mind you a...
I bought a 2000 suburban 4x4 5.3l mainly for parts to ls swap my square body but I want to get it running decent in the vehicle so I’m not trying to diagnose it in my square body.
problem I’m having is a po300 code. At idle the check engine light will blink and it runs rough and almost sounds...
What I did was cut the end off, slide a stock style one on the wire and put on a throttle cable stop. I used what I had. The retainer I had didn't have the slot to put the cable up in just a hole going through the middle.
Update, sunsong part number 3401061 worked. It is for a rwd model. Not sure why this one fit perfect with correct routing but the 4wd hose didn't. I also don't get why they would be different especially since the hose routes straight up and around, going no where near the front diff.
Anyway...
Thanks guys! The part number that I got shows it's for and 01 as well. I was able to get a number off the old hose so that is what I just swapped the other hose with. We'll see if this fits better. That diagram does show me a general routing of the hose, which is different than how this guy had...
I have a 2000 chevy tahoe 4x4 5.3l with vacuum assist brakes NOT hydro boost.
I just need a picture of the hose routing for the pressure line from the pump to the steering box.
This vehicle was owned by a questionable mechanic who did his own repairs and the hose must have been replace by him...
