Swapped 22s for 20s and wow! Need help with PSI please

Thanks. Yeah door sticker says 36 psi for the 22s. 35 psi for the 20s is what I came across too, but was hoping for confirmation from an actual door sticker.

Swapped 22s for 20s and wow! Need help with PSI please

One of my 22 inch rims cracked so I swapped to 20s instead and wow what an improvement in ride softness! I didn't think it would matter that much but it's seriously noticeable and even quieted an annoying interior rattle. Can someone who's ride came with 20s from the factory please tell me...

    New Premier!!

Yep, gotta draw the line somewhere and paint color carries no functional value. I didn't get to a position where I could afford a $70k vehicle by dropping 5 bills on paint.

    Bad ride and noise?

The 22 inch wheels do add some road feedback vs the 20s. I would not call it a rough ride and definitely not noisy. Most builds that have the 22s should also have the MRC and should ride very smoothly.

    2022 Z71 Suburban 6.2L bent lifters

I'm in the camp of this was a bad batch of parts. If it's a DFM design issue then we should be hearing from more owners outside of the timeframe of bad parts specified by GM. From those who post build dates I have seen very few failures after March 2021 and I have only read about one or two '22...

Lifter Issues on ‘21s Being Delivered to Dealers

There are people on wait lists to get one of these rides and you actually sold yours which was having no problems becasue of a problem that MIGHT happen but has not happened to the majority of owners? I'm in my 14th month of ownership without a single issue and personally know other 21...

here we go again with another recall

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I couldn't disagree more. When I was shopping for a full size SUV I first looked at the Sequoia. However as soon as I glanced inside it looked like an early 2000s vehicle becasue it basically is. The tahoe has night and day better features, more...

here we go again with another recall

The 4runner is not in the same vehicle class as a tahoe/yukon, so any price or other comparison is irrelevant. You need to be comparing to the Sequoia.

here we go again with another recall

My Tahoe built in sep 2020 is not affected. Luckily I have not had the same bad experiences as others on here, it's been all smooth sailing in my rig.

Which build months are safe from lifter problems?

That's about how long I plan on keeping mine. This is a good time to buy since GMs large SUVs will probably continue to be best in segment for at least a couple more years.

Which build months are safe from lifter problems?

Also a Sep 20 build. No issues.

    What to do/buy?

As an owner and someone who knows other owners, I believe most people are happy with their 21s. It's been as reliable as any vehicle I've ever owned at the current mileage and a much better experience to drive than anything I've owned. Don't hesitate to get one and don't let the online...

Assuming 22's contraints, is waiting for air ride worth the wait?

As previously mentioned, I've also read that magnetic ride control is a bigger factor in ride quality than air ride. But I'm sure having both can only further improve the ride.

Which build months are safe from lifter problems?

The timeframe was in the TSB posted earlier in the thread.

Which build months are safe from lifter problems?

I was under the impression that the TSB date range was based on VIN build date (door jamb sticker) not engine build date.

    Driver door rattle

I get a rattle from the driver side door column where the seat belt is. It's minor and I plan to have it looked at under warranty.

Thanks but this is different from the TSB that the other poster mentioned. This has a Sept date. This thread has now mentioned September, Oct and Nov as the beginning of the window.

needing some input - do i pull the trigger?

It's not clear if the lifter problem is actually fixed or not but either way don't let that deter you from buying if you have the opportunity to do so. We are probably talking about a fraction of a percent of the tens of thousands of these built that have experienced the problem. I'm glad I...

    Sold my new tahoe

I really think this lifter concern is blown way out of proportion. Does it worry me as an owner, yes. Would I sell my vehicle becasue if it, no chance. That's an extreme move for something that has not and will not affect the majority of owners. Speaking from personal experience, no issues with...
