Success! Removed it and everything still works. It was a long day of installing everything and I'm still not done yet, but after testing everything out, I can say everything still works. I haven't done a full stereo retrofit in probably 20 years, it was a lot easier and faster to do installs...

Well I have a Maestro RR module installed, that's the only reason I was wondering. I'm not sure if that takes care of everything even if I unplug the amp or not.

Already found that out. The mic or whatever is hooked into the console on the driver's side couldn't be in a worse place. I'm too old and fat for bending like that these days. Guess I'll just unplug it and see if everything works.
