Nice! It's been unseasonably warm here in the Atlanta area too. 69 degrees right now at 9:41am on New years day! We had a tornado warning last night too. Thankfully nothing happened.
It may have settled a little bit since, still a touch higher in the back. Once I wear out these expensive Michelins, I'll drop it proper and do some 22's.
Naw, the rods are the same. It had a slightly different height from side to side before I changed them too. Although I guess it could be improper torsion bar adjustment in the front. I did a little research online and found a YouTube video and disabled the auto ride altogether. I cut the orange...
Hmm, I did remove another 1/4" or so and now I'm getting "service ride control" message. It seems like it dropped slightly...Any reason why the driver's side is higher than the passenger side?
I think I'm ready to switch to a passive system in the rear. Just wondering if the eibach springs will...
I ended up using a 1/4" bolt and ground the head off so I'd have threads on both sides. I could have bought threaded rod, but I'd have to cut them anyway.
I pulled the air line and it didn't make a difference...? To be honest, I'm not sure if they even work.
If I shorten the rods again, I need to buy some new ones, I think. Are they readily available?
Ok, I did what you said. it did drop a little. Thank you. I think it may be about 1 -1 1 1/2" inches lower than before. I can feel the difference when cornering. I'd like it to sit lower, but that's what I got for now. I'm at about 36 1/4" fender height in back and 35' in front. about a 1/4"...
Thanks. It came with the shorter sensor rods and I installed them. The rear looks about the same, maybe a 1/2" drop. I'm a little bummed. Any ideas? Is there a way to disable the auto level function, and not have it blow codes on me?
I think I may have found the answer... The ZW7 option is the premium smooth ride, which I'm not even sure was available in 2006? So, when I have some time, I'll go ahead and put the springs in.
