In case anyone was wondering; I brought it to the dealer and they recommend replacing the driver front axle shaft for $915!! They said GM has seen this before! Of course they do; shortly after my warranty expires! 44kmiles currently.
I have a slight vibration at high speeds and while trying to rule out the wheel bearings; I noticed that the left front wheel sounds completely different than the right front. The right front is quiet and spins with less effort, while the left front makes more of a mechanical/clicking sound...
Jeep totally missed a great opportunity with the Wagoneer. I waited for them; but they look like a giant Chevy HHR from the side view. I think the original 60's to 80's models look better.
My 21 Yukon AT4 has over 42k miles and I'm still rolling the OEM GY Trail runners. I never liked the look of them, but I really can't complain. They are quiet, great in the rain and performed well in the snow. With that said, I can't wait to get a more aggressive looking tire installed. Think...
I have this exact issue with my 21 AT4. Its been doing it for probably 8k miles; I now have 41k miles. I'm also due for new tires, so hopefully they can knock this out during the tire install. Thanks for posting.
Yes and every time you take it in for a warranty repair, it's always worse than before. I recently had one of the captains chairs repaired; due to a faulty track (so they say). The dealer replaced the track and when I got the truck back the seat no longer auto folded, the seat adjustment handles...
I found the location of the creak and wedged a piece of rigid black paper (really thin cardboard) between the clear plastic and hard black plastic trim. The sound has been gone ever since. It's really not noticeable as my steering wheel blocks it from my line of sight.
I think the rumble likely occurs with those that drive less spirited. I drive like an old man; ease into the gas and ease out when slowing down. I think this causes the transmission to stay in a high gear longer, thus making me feel the rumble described. This way of driving may also allow the...
Here is what I've done to my Yukon's. Completely solved my rear glass noise.

If you feel it at 75-85 then probably not DFM. At higher RPM; from my experience it runs well. I'm no expert on DFM, but when at a higher RPM I don't think DFM is activated. At the slower speeds, when you accelerate I definitely feel the "rumble you describe/high gear sensation", but not at high...
Pretty sure that's normal, unfortunately; due to DFM and transmission in too high of gear. I've noticed this with both of my 2021 Yukon's. Placing the gear selector to L9 seems to solve it, but then I lose 2 mpg minimum. I use it during city driving.
Is it OK to use these products on the new generations 21-23? I have 30k miles and want to try one. The manual recommends the AC Delco version, but I assume the ones you mentioned should also do the trick?
The message did go away after deleting the Alexa app. I will reinstall to see if it returns...
I do use it occasionally for music, but can do without to avoid a silly little message popping up every 10 seconds.
Anyone run into this message before? Just started a few days ago; very small and pops up every 10 seconds and then disappears only to pop up again 10 seconds later. Super annoying and I haven't made any changes to infotainment system for over a year....
Lot's of similar stories on here... I would have thought/hoped quality would improve since June 2020 when I purchased my first 2021 Yukon. I've been waiting 2 weeks for a stupid washer fluid pump. A part, which I would think is part of every GM Vehicle and easily acquired.
Wife and I went...
I like your approach, but expect to keep the truck. Just keep track of all your contact with the dealer; especially the service reports. Even if you get it back before 15-30 days; those days still count if you have to take the truck back for more service (within 1 year in my state). Again...
This just happened to me and dealer is ordering a replacement pump. However both my front and rear aren't working. You'll have to take it in for warranty repair and get comfortable with visiting the dealer...
Saying that 1% is low, is not saying the rest are lemons. Since I can't claim facts for you; in my opinion much more than 1% have experienced issues....
I've had two 2021 Yukons; first was a lemon and 2nd one is better. The 2nd still has issues. Just yesterday it sat at the dealer for washer fluid front/rear inop (pump on order), broken oil fill nozzle, headliner retaining clips not retaining and a binding center captains chair rail/track...
