    Under hood storage box

    I bought a NOCO group 24 battery box. Tossed the lid and had my wife sew a flame-resistant cloth cover with elastic in the seam. Works great! I store jumper cables and a few other things like WD-40 in there.

    MPG difference between 3.08 and 3.42 ratios

    2015 Yukon 4x4 5.3l engine w/ 3.42 rear end. Average 23-24mpg at 75mph. What really surprised me is how much better it is than my pickup which has the same powertrain. My pickup only gets ~19-21mpg at 75mph, depending on a lot of conditions.

    Yep, use super lube or even WD-40. Spray the hinges, the cylinders, basically any part that moves. This alone will often fix a door that opens partway and then starts to close again.

    So, 3 separate issues here: Window - this is likely the switch on the door itself. If memory serves me correctly, the wiring from the driver's switch runs through the switch on the door. The part isn't too expensive and you should be able to replace yourself, just pull off the door panel...
