I just bought and installed 2011 pull out tow mirrors for a pick up on mine.Plugs were the same easy app look great and love them for plowing.Yes I treat my suv like a 1 ton truck sorry but not sorry.
Bad Ass Tahoe man. What plow is that set up?I did a boss 7.5 superduty its a bit heavy but I run 500lbs of sand bags in the way back to counter the weight.
My buddy in NH runs an inline electric coolant heater. It circulates and warms coolant for heat at start up?
I get its not as cool as auto start but it may help.?
So I bought the Diabolo 3 tuner and have been playing around with some tunes.I love the afm shut off mode and the 93 octane tune!Give them a try but as said before do due diligance on maintaince first.Belts, plugs, hoses, wires, coolant, filters and ect.
Just recently getting rid of a V-10 f-250 I love the mpg on my 5.3.
Having said that I do find on any car or truck the best way to get or to regain good mileage is to look at yourself.
Driving style for one is important and even more so how are you about maintenance?
Plugs,coils,wires,tire...
when you do the drop you will get new springs and upper strut mounts any way.Sometimes if the rattles are more of a whole vehicle shudder look at mounts.Body tranny engine mounts make a huge difference in ride and are always overlooked. They to are wearable parts that are just hard rubber.
Saabs built by Gm used to do the same thing I have had many.Gm sells coolant tablets for such issues THEY WORK.Be carefull of the bluedevil store stuff they clog passages.
