I put over 230k miles on that 5.7, loved it and it never let me down unless the distributor got wet or accumulated a few miles on it.     Not sayin' that's all bad, I put most of my WOT time on ATV's though. It's a nicer walk most of the time. That can be a good time, usually more fun right before the breakage.

    You're not gonna go wrong with OEM, I recently swapped my original 5.7 for an HT383E and haven't had any issues with my Holley Frostbite, but I've only driven about 1500 miles.

    So the engine is complete, I have 2 error codes to resolve, but so far so good. The exhaust is now a true dual exhaust but the resonators are too loud so I'll have to swap those for mufflers, just not sure what yet.
