Both of my front axle shafts have a good bit of play (more than they should) in them at the differential side of the axle shaft.
I found videos on Youtube on how to replace the driver side axle shaft output bearing and seal but I couldn't find any info on how to do this job on the passenger...
Hi everyone,
I own a 2003 Tahoe with the RPO code "EXP" and a bunch of other export RPO codes, now that I am looking for a new fuel pump on Rockauto I saw that most of them say "except export".
My question is what the difference is and if I can use a except export fuel pump for my export...
The rack will look like this, it will be made from 60x30 (mm) extruded black anodized aluminum. It allows for a ton of different things to be easily mounted on it. It is fairly cheap as well.
I will mount a 133L aluminum cargo box, two bike axle fork mounts for my two bikes, 2x 500mm OSRAM light...
Hi everyone,
I plan on building a roof rack from extruded aluminum for my 2003 Tahoe LT.
I already know how the roof rack itself will be build (lenght, height, etc.) but I don't know yet how I should mount the roof rack to the roof.
My first idea was to remove the original crossbars and...
Did you ever figure it out ? I have a similar Sony radio and the same Pac harness and my RSE won‘t make any sound through the speakers or the two rear headphones jacks with headphones plugged in.
It‘s set on Sony.
I will try a RCA to Aux adapter and see if that works…but even if it works, then it will only work for the speakers…but why won‘t headphones plugged in one of the two aux inputs work ?
I have a Sony XAV AX-1000 radio installed in my 03 Tahoe. I also installed the Pac Rp5-Gm11 with the door chime and to also keep the steering wheel controls working. Since I did the install I cannot get my rear entertainment system to make any sound. I tried switching through all the sources on...
I went through the firewall and from there I went into the doors to wire them to the door lights that turn on when I open the door. It works absolutely great. I might add another strip for the rear of the car too.
I got mine on Ebay, just look for some outdoor LED strips that have silicon on them.
I am thinking about installing new puddle lights/perimeter lighting to my 03 Tahoe. One of my mirrors has a puddle light, the other doesn't. Instead of replacing the one mirror that has no puddle light I am thinking about to install LED strips that would light up my entire tube running board...
I just replaced my BCM with a used BCM (from a US Tahoe) that I got from Ebay (color code and p/n had to match up), it was basically plug&play and now all the features the truck used to have are back.
it throws the code at different speeds, had it happening in the city doing 30km/h but also doing 140km/h on the autobahn, it even sometimes throws the P0220 code when putting the key in the ignition.
The wiring near the throttle body is fine, I replaced it last year and I also just did the...
Hey everybody,
last year I had a lot of trouble getting the reduced engine power message. I think it was the P2135 code. I replaced the throttle body, added a few grounds (neg battery pole to TCM to body to throttle body to engine to PCM), cleaned all thenother grounds on the truck and got the...
Hi,
the problem with my truck is that it has the acoustic and exterior lights feedback when locking/unlocking the truck disabled. I cannot activate it in my driver information center. The reason it is disabled: it is a 2003 Tahoe for the European market, therefore (because of our laws) it has...
I was thinking about a new BCM for some time as my truck is a EU version it came with some things deleted in the BCM like the exterior lock feedback (blinker flashing and horn honking when locking the car with the fob) and in order to have these features you’ll need a new standard US BCM. Does...
the lights always turn off when I close the door, I guess that is working fine.
Do you know which ground is responsible for the BCM ?
Last year I cleaned the two grounds to the frame on the driver side.
One on the front left close to the Bumper.
And I rewired some grounds in the engine bay...
