If you find my (same post) in the other model year section, a couple of users pointed out some good catch cans and tips. My pictures looked similar to yours but I had the new style of cover with larger opening. They were stuck hard and It was a PITA to clean. I honestly would just buy new. I...
That’s a good point. We can grab a 5th tire, as I plan to run at least the set out, and by then the spare might be way past dead.
Thinking back, when we had our rock puncture in the smokies I was worried how far that old spare would run. It’s good for a in town spare at the best now. But I’m...
Coming up on 2nd tire replacement. 2013 LT z71 stock tires. The full size spare is still ok and used once to get from a cabin to tire repair shop ~10 miles. Vehicle has 117k. The last set we put on was a stock match Goodyear.

thanks again. The catch can will be post Christmas activity- but I did get both gaskets changes. Overall took from 11-5pm, first time and fighting a migraine. No major issues, mine didn’t come off as seen on TV, had to wrangle and tap them a bit to free up. Then Found out my 8mm socket did...
Thanks! Great info. And I realized late night that I posted this in the wrong area (00-06) but you are all so helpful. I’m out of degreaser so I will just grab some with the new gaskets. I can Inspect the sensor too.
What’s your recommendation on catch can? Brand, type, are there multiple...

Thanks! And thanks for the input. We just got back from vacation and was struggling getting new account set up here. I will get that info added ASAP If that helps folks.
The vehicle is stock, no mods. Just the normal oil change and air filter when required. Vehicle runs great and have...
Hello.
My old account has been lost since we purchased our 2013 Tahoe new back in 2013. The vehicle has been a real maintenance free machine. Has 110k miles approximately. Z71 LT 4WD. Gone through one battery and set of tires.
Our local dealer has always provided the “recommended”...
