    400+ horsepower?

I purchased my 2015 Hoe with a Magnuson SC - $6,200. It's a big price but installs in a day. Takes hp/torque to 480/490. Only using 6lbs of torque so thinking the additional wear should be minimal. Only issue to me is throttle mapping could be refined a bit - there's mild surging under different...

    E-brake hanging under axle - 2015 Tahoe

Anyone else bothered by the e-brake hanging under the axle? I don't get it, especially with a 3" lift there's more than enough space to get it out of the way of snagging - and it looks stupid! I've got some cutting and welding to do on the shock support and I'm going to re-route the lines but...

    How long is your Rod?

I bought a lowered '15 and then raised it 3" above stock - so I was completely lost as to the height of it. I purchased the same size rod from Napa Auto and then measured what it would take the lever to be half way through it's motion, then cut the rod to that height and it worked fine. Of...

I was playing on the dunes and then this happened...

Holy cow! $200 was a great deal. I just purchased and lifted a Tahoe that had been lowered - some height can make a big difference - just not usually front and rear approach angles at the same time! :-)

2015 4x4 Tahoe - purchased lowered and need to raise 2-3" above stock

They may be - I bought the set used to replace the 24" low-rider set the previous owner had. And, yeah, I think they look real good! :-)

2015 4x4 Tahoe - purchased lowered and need to raise 2-3" above stock

Thanks, Olyelr! I've got 2" additional height in the rear and so I'm going to lower 1", then set the sensor, and make all my final adjustments - like the linkage to the rear swaybar - it's a little pinched. Also the rear shocks were fully extended so I took the lowering brackets and flipped them...

2015 4x4 Tahoe - purchased lowered and need to raise 2-3" above stock

Thanks Burken! Funny, looking at the pics it almost looks like the rear is low, but it's definitely raked just a bit. I'm looking for how to adjust the rear air shocks. I bought the rod stock to lengthen them but not sure where to set them. I'll probably just set them to where it's throwing the...

2015 4x4 Tahoe - purchased lowered and need to raise 2-3" above stock

Ok, all's good.....except! The bracket for the rear shocks turns the shocks 90 degrees - the air shocks don't like that at all so I left them off till I could get an extender that doesn't do the rotation. However, my shocks are at bottom (or top) and I didn't hook up the little arm that adjusts...

2015 4x4 Tahoe - purchased lowered and need to raise 2-3" above stock

Boy am I glad I wasn't able to get it on with the spacer, lol! Removed the spacespacer and then install went fine and the vehicle is setting just right! I'll post pic tomorrow.

2015 4x4 Tahoe - purchased lowered and need to raise 2-3" above stock

Long story short I think the strut I bought gives me the 3-inch lift and I don't need the spacer. Bought from Carid and they said it was a strut for a lifted vehicle and that I could put the space on. Manufacturers site says it gives a 3-inch lift! That's why I was having so much trouble I think...

2015 4x4 Tahoe - purchased lowered and need to raise 2-3" above stock

Correct, hard to believe! These are supposed to be stiffer than stock but holy hell! If anything they may compress an inch, but by the time they start lifting the truck it's still about 3" to get the upper arm down onto the the knuckle - I just don't see how this is going to work! Looks like the...

2015 4x4 Tahoe - purchased lowered and need to raise 2-3" above stock

I'm sort of stuck! I don't see how the spindles would even help the problem I'm having - apparently stock or lowered keeps the control arms the same distance from each other - it's more where the axle comes through! With the strut fully extended and attached to the bottom arm and the the top...

2015 4x4 Tahoe - purchased lowered and need to raise 2-3" above stock

I have some stock ones they sent me a pic of - but they're 2 hrs away! I'm trying to tell from the pic if I have stock or lowering ones! REALLY hard to tell! I do have the ball joint out now.

2015 4x4 Tahoe - purchased lowered and need to raise 2-3" above stock

Some I'm deep in "it" now! Put the rear springs on and 3" spacer (eliminated the shock extender) - and wow! Difference is 6" from the lowered height. On the front is where I'm screwed! Bought some heavier duty struts for a 3" lift and 3" spacers. As I get the strut in it appears there's no way...

2015 4x4 Tahoe - purchased lowered and need to raise 2-3" above stock

Thanks again Dub, I'll probably skip the electronic dampening and go with Rough Country or the like. I've used them on at least a couple vehicles and had no issues. I've been lifting and supercharging most everything I've owned, from a couple 4Runners, FJ, ect.. All were just 2-3" and were...

2015 4x4 Tahoe - purchased lowered and need to raise 2-3" above stock

Thanks Dub, that's all pretty much what I was thinking. I'll have to check on the ALC sensor - looks like to me it's roughly 2.5" ball to ball but I'll look closer. I'll have to get my head around what a longer or shorter one means based on what they're tied to - longer = higher or the other way...

2015 4x4 Tahoe - purchased lowered and need to raise 2-3" above stock

Sorry for the delayed response to all the helpful info! Was taking care of my mom after surgery - all I could think about was getting my Hoe back up! :-) I've posted some pics that will hopefully help. Looks like they installed a drop bracket for the rear shocks and some lower coils. I think...

2015 4x4 Tahoe - purchased lowered and need to raise 2-3" above stock

Aren't shock extenders only used in lifting? Actually I guess they could extend in the opposite direction? So getting into the fix: Looks like I should be able to get new shocks up front and use spacers for a 2 to 3" lift there, then in the rear replace those springs, add spacers, and figure how...

2015 4x4 Tahoe - purchased lowered and need to raise 2-3" above stock

I have the z85 suspension with the rear air shocks. Previous owner lowered it and I'm trying to get back to stock then raise it ideally 3", keeping the stock rake. Having a hard time identifying how he lowered it - hence what all I'll need replace - control arms, shocks, spindles?? Ideally if I...

2015 Tahoe with Magna lowered, needs original equip + 2" or 3"

Hey there, new to the forum. Just sold my 99 tahoe - I'll miss it. But bought a '15 Tahoe for a great price - but the guy lowered it, so, looking to get back to stock, or maybe stiffer, and add 2 to 3" - w/o leveling. I searched the forum but may have missed info. Hard knowing exactly how he...
