Is Trading a 2019 Suburban for a 2021 Suburban worth it?

I’ve had good luck buying 1-3 years old with 20,000 - 30,000 miles. I’ve done it twice on Tahoe’s and saved close to a third off the cost of new. Certified used can also be a great deal because the certified warranty is better than the “new car” warranty.

    Any tips for better mpg

I had a 2016 and now a 2019 both with the 5.3, generally I average 19-20 mpg, on a trip almost 24, only time I get 13 is when I’m hauling the camper. Also, while 4WD will hurt mileage a little, AWD Doesn’t make much difference at all. I was taught to “drive like there’s an egg between your foot...

    Towing Travel Trailer

The smaller trailer will be good. I have a 2019 Tahoe with trailer package, added a brake module, and use the "Equalizer" hitch setup. And I use the "trailer" button. I've towed my Winnebago 2108 DS (3900 lbs. dry) about 15000 miles with no problems.

Wife hates my new 2006 Yukon XL Denali

I learned a long time ago (the hard way) if you're buying a car for the wife you'd better take her with you and let her do the test driving. You can help negotiate the price, but if its going to be her daily driver, better make sure its her choice.

Air bubbles in the coolant reservoir

Just a thought, but I had a truck years ago and the head gasket was leaking. Couldn't tell until it got bad enough to smell at the exhaust pipe.

    Milwaukee Power Tools

I’ve got a pretty nice collection of these, mostly 18 volt, but some 12 volt. All work excellent and I am very impressed by how long the batteries last. I’ve used the 7-1/4” circular saw to cut 2” oak with no problem. The impact driver and the drill are powerful enough for all my needs. The...

Trying to find the correct ball mount for a 2009 Tahoe LT 2" receiver hitch

Park the trailer so it’s level on flat ground and measure the height of the coupler on the trailer, do a little math and you should be able to figure out what the drop should be.
