New accelerator pedal sensor at 223K miles = huge difference
I just bought a 2004 Denali w 223K miles. Promptly got reduced engine power and threw a new throttle body/sensor at that which may have solved the problem. Disconnecting adjustable accelerator pedal
By the way, I replaced the accelerator pedal position sensor and the throttle position sensor and the Yukon with 223K miles on it drives MUCH better. No more annoying lag time between pressing the pedal and getting the power. Much more responsive. I think the pedal sensor replacement is...- NC Yukon

There are a couple of locking clips that you have to release to free up the motor wire.There is a little access opening below each nub that sticks out (the nubs that secure the protective plastic collar). Disconnecting adjustable accelerator pedal
I’m trying to replace my accelerator pedal sensor assembly on a 2004 Yukon. This is an adjustable accelerator and the wire that I don’t know how to unplug goes to the adjustment motor. I’ll try to attach a photo that shows the problem area. Does this pull straight out? Do I need tools to unplug it?- NC Yukon
