So I have a 15 Escalade and the transmission started shifting rough. My mechanic wanted $5000.00 plus tax for a GM remanufactured one. I didn't check what the dealers in the New York City area prices were. I went online and I found several places that remanufacture transmissions and I chose one...
Hi, yes I buy all the parts for my truck from rock auto but they don't have any stock and they're in short supply. My question though is can I use any of the aftermarket shocks out there.
Hi guys good evening, hope all's well with everyone. I have a "15 Escalade and it needs front shocks. I'm seeing a lot off aftermarket shocks being advertised for it.
Anyone on here ever tried these aftermarket shocks? If so, can you tell me your experience with them? It seems like GM is in...
I'm very sorry to hear that sir. I have a 2015 Suburban LTZ and I've had nothing but problems with that truck. As much as I like the new GM trucks I'm not touching them now. I'll wait two years or so before I buy one. Hopefully by then they'll work out the bugs in them.
I have a 15 Suburban LTZ and it has been recalled at least 7 times for various issues. I've spent a hell of a lot of money on this truck. I highly recommend against buying a 15-17 GM truck, nothing but problems with them.
I'm very sorry to hear that my friend. After what I went through with my 15 Suburban, I'm not buying one of these trucks until they work out the issues. The first two years of a redesign always have problems. I hope that's not a sign of more issues with your truck going forward.
Hi my friend I got it out. I hear to hit it a few times with a hammer to knock it out. I guess it was seized up. The truck had 263,000 miles on it. Thank you you for your help and be safe now.
It's actually 6 holes my friend. I called a friend of mines who's a mechanic and he told I have to hit it with a hammer to knock it out. I guess it was seized up. I hit it three times and if came right off. Thank you for your help.
There's six bolts on the water pump that attaches it to the manifold. I removed all 6 and it still isn't coming off. I don't want to use a hammer on it because I'm afraid I'll damage the manifold as well.
Hi I have a 2015 Suburban and I'm trying to replace the water pump but no matter how I try I can't remove it. I tried prying it out but it wouldn't even budge. Any suggestions on how I can remove it? Thanks for your help.
Hi guys I have a 2015 Suburban LTZ with 262,000 miles on it. So I go to the mechanic and he tells me my front shocks are leaking. This will be the third time I will have to replace the front shocks on this truck. Is there an aftermarket shock that could replace the Ac Delco shocks that will last...
No they're not any different my friend. I own a '15 Suburban LTZ and I buy all my parts from Rockauto. You can buy from them with confidence because it's the same dealer part. Actually some dealers have internet sales where they sell the same parts online for almost half the price you would pay...
