    Already changed the mode door....

Im real big on doing my own work on my vehicles. My main issue is that my HOA doesnt let me work on my vehicles on the property. A project that will take that long, i cant really do at home so it becomes more of an issue than it is.

If it comes to that, then it stays the way it is. Honestly, this truck runs great but its just not worth dumping the time and money into it.

    Already changed the mode door....

I thought the "relearn" was to disconnect the battery for a while then reconnect and turn the key to on but not start. Then when the doors stop cycling, Id be good. I did all that, twice actually. Still doesnt work as it should. It seemed to only make a difference the first time I did it. No...

The mode door actuator. Under the drivers side, above the gas pedal, the one with the top bolt that almost made me question life itself trying to remove it

    Already changed the mode door....

I pulled the fuse when i did the install but when I get home later im gonna try the battery reset. I was trying to avoid that because of having to reset all my stereo stuff but im hoping thats a small price to pay if just disconnecting and reconnecting the battery makes the doors work

My 2000 lately will only blow air thru the dash vents. All of my reading lead me to thinking I needed to replace the mode door actuator. I changed it yesterday and it still doesn't do anything. AC Compressor

Yeah, i mean thats a great way to explain it and its hard to find honest mechanics that would recommend something like that especially by me. Ive been through so many mechanics. I may just ride the rest of this season out and maybe get it looked at before next summer starts. I appreciate the...

    AC Compressor

I appreciate the response. yes, its a 2000 dollar ride but its solid ( worth more, but got it from a neighbor who knew i needed something for work/winter besides my Camaros ). I also put a rear in it about a year ago. Im too far into this badboy to trade it out for something else.

    AC Compressor

Quick question about adding a premade box setup

Nothing crazy to look at but does the job and still leaves me enough room to still use the truck for work. Amp and all the wiring is inside the driver side panel where the original sub was. If I ever need to use my 3rd row, I can just unhook the speaker wires back of the box and the 3rd row fits...
