Watch out for RED LIGHT runners

Ouch. So glad she's okay. Truck did it's job. Someone ran one right in front of me last week as I was waiting at a busy light in front of the police barracks. The culprit almost t-***** a huge yellow municipal dump truck who had the right of way. Didn't even slow down. Good times!

    Dogs, Puppies, post em up

He already has me wrapped around his little paw. Spoiled rotten. (But if you're not going to spoil them, what's the point??)

Vinyl wrapping the chrome window trim

Nice. Clean AF. Now that I've tinted my windows the chrome trim is bothering me even more.

    Dogs, Puppies, post em up

Something sad and something happy - My 15-year old weimaraner passed away at Christmas. When you have dogs you already know how much it #%!&* sucks to lose a good one. I was definitely not ready for another dog so soon, but someone told me about this little bluetick who showed up at a pitbull...

Remove or black out chrome strip on doors

(Sorry to bump this old thread. I couldn't find anything recent. ) Hating the chrome strip on the doors of my '19 and definitely thinking of pulling it off. Good to know there's nothing underneath, that makes me less scared... but still a little scared. I have an appointment on Thursday to...

    Touch screen issue..

I would think since you literally have a video of it malfunctioning, the dealer needs to do their job and handle it. Time to try a different one before that warranty is up! When I had my XT5 the clock went backwards. The dealer didn't believe me but when I presented video they had no choice ...

    Well. She was almost perfect.

I hate seeing one of our girls take a hit. People who drive drunk are trash.

    Rear cargo area mat?

Sorry, I just saw this. Up front I have https://www.weathertech.com/chevrolet/2019/tahoe/3d-floor-mats/1st-row-seat-type/bucket/tahoe-2nd-row/bench-seating/ I made a thread about them here ------> https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/weathertech-3d-floor-mats.114319/ In the second row, I...

2020 Yukon XL with 5.3 will engine keep running ?

I wouldn't trust my dog's life with this technology but that's just me. If I absolutely have to leave him in the truck on a hot day, I will shut the Hoe off, exit with the fob and remote start it with the AC on (I believe it will run for 10 minutes unless you push the remote again but don't...

2019 Tahoe for towing. Difference between tow and max trailer package?

From what I gather, "Max Trailering Package" is what they call the 3:42's... So, to break it down - Tahoe with 3:42 AR 2WD = 8600 max / 4WD = 8400 max Tahoe with 3:08 AR 2WD = 6600 max / 4WD = 6400 max (might have a "tow package" but this is not the "max trailering package") Also from the...

2018 Tahoe/Full second row not avail?

There doesn't always seem to be correlation between trim level and the 2nd row bench. When I was looking to buy a '19 it seemed to mostly depend on what the dealers were ordering/what they felt would sell the best. I had to scour the interwebs for a few months to find a second row bench in the...

GM should bring the pewter color back...

Pewter is a great color. I have Pepperdust. (not the same but as close as I could find to a neutral color..) I don't care for white and I don't have the patience for black :)

    Take Steering message

Nanny systems seem to be strangely both competent and incompetent at the same time. I'm guessing you've tried it on various stretches of road with the same results. If I'm reading your description right, the LKA works when you drift around inside the lane...but not when you move all the way out...

Is there a quality forum for Avalanche

You're probably aware of this already, but. The frame rust is real on the 2011-2013's. There was a TSB regarding this for this platform (#PI0564B "Wax coating on frame peeling/Metal shows corrosion/rusting" Escalade, Escalade ESV, EXT, Avalanche, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, Sierra, Yukon and...

Talk me out of it or into it

From what you describe, it doesn't sound like you're in desperate need of more towing capacity. Unless you plan on buying a larger boat or something, what's the rush into something else if the setup you have now is working and you like your Tahoe otherwise? I understand the worry about the...

    Tahoe tow hitch cover

Hi and welcome. You can order this cover, I think GM calls it a "custom molded trailer hitch closeout." There are a few different part numbers for it here (scroll down to the bottom) Your dealer should also be able to order one for you and they would probably know the exact one you need. I...

    Rear cargo area mat?

I have a Lloyd cargo mat, it's plush carpet. This is the one I have - https://www.lloydmatsstore.com/ultimat-floor-mats (if you go to "configure" you can pick the type of mat and color, etc) If I have to haul something gross, I have a plastic mat from a different vehicle that I throw back...

    Future 2020/21 Tahoe/Yukon/Suburban

I had that shifter in my '18 XT5. I'm guessing they've probably updated it for the new Escalade.. (hopefully?) but lots and lots of people on the Caddy forums hate that shifter. It's like a weird appendage intended to electronically mimic a sporty stick shift but for people who've actually...

Seat memory mind of its own

Oof, don't bother lol... nothing but unhappiness there. Somehow I must be bumping it by accident. Or something unknown is hell-bent on improving my posture.

Seat memory mind of its own

Lumbar is the worst. Does anyone actually use/like it? Maybe the pain and discomfort it inflicts on the kidneys is useful for staying alert on long drives, I guess. o_O
