Thanks for the response. Still trying to figure this out. The rear blocks are angled, so the angle from the diff is pretty subtle. Looks steeper at the transfer case. I though these needed to be equal? Found some slip in my rear diff and u-joints so cleared all that up. It’s improved but there...- ColoradoMike99

Digging up an older thread.... I just did a 4inch lift Pro-Comp lift on my 99 2-door with Auto-trac 4x4. Now, I can hear/feel the driveshaft spinning. Especially noticeable at 10-15mph when everything else is super quiet (no wind noise, no tire noise etc.) Coasting, braking, accelerating...- ColoradoMike99

Too Light Steering
Resurrecting an old thread. Seems like there are two issues: 1) loose steering and 2) over sensitive / variable assist issues. I have a 99 and had the variable assist issue back when it was new. Not sure what happened but it seemed to go away. Now, 20 years later I do a lift and larger tires...- ColoradoMike99

1999 2 door tahoe lift...Question!
Glad you brought it back up. 4inch pro comp and metric 35s on this 2 door for sale at Hendrick in NC. They say no rubbing whatsoever. I like that look/stance, but wouldn’t mind a little more tire. considering going a little bigger. I suppose a 37 is out of the question? How bad is trimming to...- ColoradoMike99

I understand where you are coming from. I have a 1999 2 door that I bought new. Sold it a few years ago, but kept in touch with the buyer, and just bought it back.
