UPDATE: did flush and filter with current spec fluid. Lines were flushed along with 12+ qts and used Ford friction modifier which shop felt better choice. 2500 miles now and all OK!
Question for NickTransmissions when in trailer mode does TCC get locked up and if so what gears?
thanks
Dealer checked it, but going to have local trans shop pull pan and check. Both say there is newer fluid. shop road-tested vehicle. I'll update. Trans shop
Dealer also said fluid used in TSB only lasted for about 4 years, hence the newer version of fluid.
Flud was changed when purchased at 50K miles per TSB now at 95K. happens even in trailer tow mode. Does GM assist in repair? does additional damage occur if driven? Will another fluid change help? Please educate me?
BTW I have
2016 Yukon 6.2 and 8speed. I think TC just started to shudder, and...
Here's what I found group 94R and H7 for AGM. That said if mine is 94R it tests good, but with AGM setting shows replace. I did both set to 800CCA. Standing voltage is 12.7v
Anyone know the AC delco OEM battery group, CCA, and AGM or not? I'am trying to avoid almost pulling it out to get info... so I can properly test it?
thanks
choices:
1- trust the dealer
2- 2nd opinion at another dealer
3- another opinion at "trans" shop
4- live with it

If you google P2227 and P2228 are related to the barometric pressure sensor. That said maybe best to have a knowledgeable shop monitor data from the barometric pressure sensor. The sensor can adjust air/fuel ratio as needed. Just don't start throwing parts at it which may cost more than have a...
Purchased our 2016 Denali Yukon XL in 2018 w/ 50K miles and at that time trans issue was addressed before purchase, now has 86K. My question anyone have video or can explain what the shudder is? I do have snap-on solus scanner and how could I use it to check for issue/record/? I'm retired and...
2016 XL and recently did 2 trips
1- 125 mile each way towing 6500lb boat&trailer on same road each way. Premium(93) fuel trip shows 13.9MPG and return trip with MID(89) reported 14.2mpg. NO difference noticed even on hills which peaked at 2400 elevation.
2- 500 mile round trip(not towing) going...
dealer missed the rear were also bad when they checked the front. So... after parts delay also got rear replaced along with air compressor for them. Tech stated compressor wasn't running. All done now and rides great. extended warranty policy more than paid for itself w/only $200 deductible
2016, right side board has recently would start to retract then go out again. I have lubed all the pivot points as done in the past but not helping now. Begining to think I need to take motor apart and lube internal gears? Comments please and thanks
GMC dealer which they stated front shocks is the issue, I thought it was the rears. Ordered and wait to next visit. That said, how do I check the rears? If I depressurize the rears( with Snap-On Solus) should I see them drop without doing damage to system? Would like GM tech to chime in?
thanks
