    Updated Thermal Control Valve

    Just installed the updated TCV (thermostat) for my 6L80e. Took about 30 min once I found the correct size sockets and got set up. Trans temp now doesn’t go about 150. Part was about 50 bucks. Part number is 86774933 if anyone is interested. I think it’s well worth it.

    Transmission Fluid Analysis

    Just though I would post my analysis I had done. Sample was taken during a 5qt refresh after 20k mile run using AMSOIL SIGNATURE. Factory fluid was changed out at 24k miles to AMSOIL. (Approx 10 out 12 qts). Now have 44k miles on vehicle. I am very pleased with the report.
