Let us know when you do your tune & how you like it! Im lucky & live in a state that doesnt even care if you have open exhaust. We don't even have inspection stickers anymore.
Ha! I work for a big Orthopedic group. You use the same terminology I use to describe to my patients their injuries. I appreciate all of your input & answers here. This forum is WAY more mature & helpful than the Silverado guys. Hell, some of their posts to members, the members wouldn’t even...
Damn right! Southern proud! Down here you either know how to fix it, or you have a buddy that has fixed something before & will work on it for ya for some cold beer & company in the garage! We never go to a dealership to fix truck stuff in the Dirty South. I had to go to a crap chain store to...
I don’t remember. It was a AutoZone hub. Moog is the best to get. But something besides the hub caused this. The entire wheel & brake parts are still in there.
It had a lot of miles, it goes through the mud & could have caught a branch & torn something.... there were just a lot of factors in that wreck. I baby that truck & took care of it. I was the only owner & driver of it. Planned on keeping it till I die.
One lady was putting items in her car at Dollar General, looked up & saw me riding on 3 wheels with the other rolling right beside me. I hit the ditch, flipped numerous times in the air, breaking the top of my shortwave antenna. Then landed on a security fence & broke it. I never heard the wheel...
2004. It was lifted. Shocks & tires blew on final landing. The tire snapped off after letting a "professional shop" put in a new front end since I dont have a alignment machine. It lasted from Oct to Super Bowl Sunday & it broke off. Mechanic looked at it & said they forgot to grease the...
Front wheel came off at 70MPH & it went down the city runoff water ditch. Luckily I got to strip all my lights, breaklights, K&N CAI,& my stereo system out before the insurance man got there & took it away.
Is the location behind the glovebox, or above passengers feet, like some Silverado’s? I just got a 2013 & going to clean the entire system out. I live in the humid Dirty South & I know it needs some cleaning.
I’m a Amateur Radio operator & have 2 systems I’m adding to mine. I have a 3 magnet mount for thick antennas, and a 1 mag mount for 2m & 440hz antenna (small) I can easily run wires through the top of the back glass & hide them all the way back up to me. Plus being a “ham operator” my tag is...
I love 10’s. With the right setup, people think I’ve got 15s! I’m trying to make a box for 4 10’s now. I’ve always had 2 because of space in my old pickup.
I have a 2013 & don’t think I have a storage bay. Make sure you have a heat vent in there. Without one it will heat up quickly in there. Looks great, through.
That doesn’t look bad! Do you have any pics in brighter light after everything is hooked up & panels are back in place? How much time do you think it took you from start to finish? And what year is your truck?
Great to be on board here. My last Silverado self destructed & almost killed me at 206,000mi. Now I moved to a 2013 Tahoe. Beautiful machine inside & out. You guys & girls seem more mature about questions than the Pick Up truck group. Looking forward to contributing here!
