How does the tow haul shifter work out? I know it is a direct bolt on deal, but does it require any programming to work, or does it activate the tow haul mode as it should right our of the box?
My 14 just started making a howling noise too. I'm pretty sure it's the rear end. Sounds like tires, but I don't think it is. I have serviced the rear diff and didn't notice anything out of place. I'm thinking this may be the right time to swap in a 3.73 rear end from an avalanche. I know...
I found the power wire for a passenger side spotlight rolled up and tucked in nice behind the access panel on the passenger side of the dash. Not much, but haven't seen it mentioned.
Not much luck with Whelen, but I did find a Unity mount kit for about $60. I can't find any instructions for it, and the pic of the kit looks kind of generic. Maybe I'll just have to spring for it and hope for the best. I'm wanting to see how they seal coming through the a pillar. It looks...

It won't fit the small on either. The small one should be four wire with a female end. The black and red plug is also female and only two wires. I was hoping it would be that easy too. Maybe if I was a millionaire...

I don't know how they are held together, but lets hope it works. Having the stub shaft bolted in makes sense, but hopefully I'm good without it. So far so good anyway.
Hey all, new guy here. I just got myself a 2014 PPV and I was under it yesterday doing and oil change and general once over. I noticed the front wheel bearings/hubs are splined like they should have a cv shaft going through it. They have been in there for a while by the looks of it, and could...
