Towing today with my 2004 Denali xl 6.0. Radiator is leaking bad. Had it towed home. A radiator replacement is now required when I return from camping. Should I go with an upgraded radiator while I’m at it? Recommendations?
I'm trying to replace my Serpentine belt on my 04 Denali 6.0. I've tried 2 belts and they both are really close but just a bit too tight to get on. Any Idea how I can find the correct belt length?
I know this has been discussed many times. Since the LED technology changes rapidly I believe it's fair to ask again. I resoldered some of my cluster to get back the brightness of the P1234 lights. I notice I have several lights that need replaced on the cluster. Is there an LED that can be...
thanks to all who shared the procedure for removing dash, instrument cluster and resoldering to fix the dim lights. I had a couple regular lights on the panel that are out. I’ll have to fix them next time. What bulbs are folks typically using?
I removed all the analog gauges and didn’t...
I started hearing a tapping from the engine. Realized a couple manifold bolts have their heads broken off. Installed the Dorman manifold clamp 917-107
I tried for a while and couldn’t get the bolts into the back of the engine started. My son-in-law came by and took care of it in 30 minutes...

I was towing a camper this week. We went approx 90 miles. Highway driving @65-70 mph. Not crazy elevation but a lot of up and down hills.

I’m looking for a good explanation of how this awd works. How is it better than rear wheel drive? Is it a good system in the rain and snow? Is there an advantage over 2wd on dry roads?
I have the awd just don’t know if and how it helps me.
Thanks
I don’t have records for my Yukon Denali 6.0 2004. It 170k Should I change the plugs and wires? No perceived problems but I wondered if it was prudent to do it since I don’t know their condition. If so, what plugs and wires are best? Thanks
i’ve had my 2004 Yukon Denali 6.0 all wheel drive since March. It has 170k with limited records available There have been a few things to take care of along the way. I’ve had it long enough that it feels like mine now, if you know what I mean. How often would you change the oil? Would you...
Down the line I plan to install a new head unit. But they are a bit pricey In the mean time I’m looking for something inexpensive that I can simply plug my iPhone into the radio to hear tunes from my iPhone I was thinking physical plug because I thought it may be cheaper and I haven’t...
My low beams are very dim. Today was the day to take them apart, clean them, and install new bulbs.
A couple pictures of the assembly’s
I’m worried about the flaking mirror material looking down inside the light
Is this what’s causing my problems.

I'm driving a 6.0 2004 Denali. After testing the towing a couple time there is one thing I have a question about. 4000 pound trailer with brakes. When driving slowly 25-30 mph on level ground, coasting then accelerating a bit. Hard to explain but there is a point where going from coast to...
Just finishing up my dogleg repair and someone hit my passenger side bumper. Now it matches the other side. Can someone point me to the best supplies and process for a decent to good repair. It’s a 15 year old truck and the rest of my paint is not perfect. I’d like it to be smooth, white...
From what I have read and seen, folks use a heat gun and plastic scraper to remove the cladding and Trim.
This is the trim piece i need to remove. I see two two of the black clips and probably adhesive holding it on. Just don't want to damage the trim.
Thanks
i seem to have to slam the door sometimes to make it latch. Everything appears to line up. When I close it slow from the outside, I can feel the first latch and it hooks. If I push it slowly from there the door goes all the way closed but doesn’t latch. Pushing will latch all the other doors...
I e had this truck for about 5 months but I just drive around town so far. I’d like to pull a small trailer but I noticed it is sometimes sluggish from take off. Started to take off faster lately to test things out. At one point last week I got a check engine. Engine would dog out then...
I was washing the White 2004 Denali today and noticed rust behind the back passenger side step
Is there a way to remove the plastic and do a diy repair?
I have a 2004 white Denali that looks great from 6-8 feet away. The paint is pretty shiny but has a lot of cracking when you look up close. The cracks show much more when it is dirty. What is the best way to slow the degradation of the old paint? Just wash? Best wax or proc as for the...
My 2004 Denali xl had a rusted hitch. Figured it would be easy to replace but it seems the Denali trim provides issues. I purchased a Reese 51201 but it did not have the bolts into the bumper, did not have a mount for the electric connector and did not fit between the bumper cover cutout. I...
My recently acquired 2004 Yukon Denali xl has replacement airshocks in the back. I connected a trailer and the back sagged a lot.
Should the rear springs have been replaced with the new airshocks? If so, how do I check what spring is in the truck? can simply put more air in the shocks? How...
Last week I picked up my first Yukon. I’ve driven a KIA minivan for 10plus years and it finally died. I typically hang on to cars too long and my wife felt I had an unhealthy attachment to the mini van. I liked something that could replace the versitality of the mini van but could also tow...
