I got TUXMAT floor mats for my wife's new 2025 Acura ITS.
These floor mats look very nice, fit great and work well. Way better than weathertec - certainly a product worth a look
No way, keep it here - you've got the new springs; that should give you increased ride height. Lifted or leveled baby! Nice choice, I liked my Bilsteins in the rear
BDS Suspension has an adjustable rear control arm that comes in their 6/5 lift kit...
Perhaps you can reach out to their technical dept. and see what they have to say about - specs, etc...
I had mentioned Freedom Off-Road as an option to take a look at for the coilovers.
I was just poking around their website and Freedom is now offering lifted strut/coil options for our trucks!
They even have lifted strut/coil combo for Magnaride!
This could be a game changer for people with z95...
I would suggest looking at the following front coilover options, Rough Country being one of the last companies I would prefer to use. If you are looking at RC, then perhaps consider upgrading to their remote reservoir Vertex coilover. Several lifted height options available.
Otherwise, I...
Yes, agreed - my 2015 Tahoe LTZ has been (IS) an electrical disaster. I call them gremlins and they run around all over.
Currently, when weather gets really hot or it's raining and I'm driving, I get the "Service Trailer Brake System" message about every 30 seconds - drives me CRAZY! I think...
That is actually INCORRECT.
If you look at the front bumper of the z71 edition, you will see that the chrome piece you see from the front view is a part GM is calling the "VALENCE"
That valence IS specific to the z71 front bumper (hence the z71 advertised special front fascia)
However, the SKID...
I just found this on GM parts website - it IS the original z71 front skid plate:
https://www.gmpartsstore.com/oem-parts/gm-part-23475140-underbody-splash-shield-23475140
Pretty good deal - not sure what the shipping would be...
Baja Pre Runner Kit with some front RR coilovers; maybe install the BDS 3" rear kit w/RR Fox Shocks? Perhaps find a lifted rear coil spring to lose the rear coil pucks.
Wheels and tires to fit, air down, and you're all set for the dunes...
@GroceryRunnr - Do you have information you can provide on the light setup you have behind the front grille?
I've been wanted to do similar the past few years, but have not found the time to start that project. You're the first I've seen with the light bar installed behind the grille.
The more...
@Tahoe_Rx -> I believe that you want to install the shock extensions on the bottom of the rear suspension.
For the trucks, the extension bracket seems to go on top. Another way of looking at it, the extension bracket goes at the end of the shock with the widest diameter, not the end with the...
My 2015 Tahoe LTZ has the additional Towing Pkg; this includes the 3.42 gearing. Thankfully.
I honestly believe that just about anything with larger than OE spec tires wants a higher gearing.
I mean, we're not rock crawling, but we are asking something of these machines. Putting the larger...
I owe people some answers - apologies but trying to wrap-up an overdue home renovation and get the family back to "normal"...
@Tahoe_Rx -> I've put a few links here. Maybe you could snap a photo of the undercarriage/front suspension to see how the sway bar is sitting (level to the ground?)...
Job well done - great overland build going!
A couple suggestions that probably wouldn't hurt your budget too much AND benefit the rig/ride:
1) Are the rear shocks built for a 0-2" ride height increase? If so -> New Rear Coil Springs, providing approx 2" increased ride height. (example...
Looking good! Well done on the overland build. More mods planned?
Have you used the onboard air compressor? What are you airing down to off trail?
Also - what's that running board you've got there? A little hard to tell, but it sure doesn't look like OE...
Safe Travels!
@Rustylane7 - those could be a bit too tall with stock suspension. I was running 33" tires with a 2-3" ride height increase up front and clearing fine with that.
Take a look at TIE ROD SLEEVES!
I've got them installed and was able to notice a difference immediately. The power on the steer came back with these.
They will work with your BDS 6" lift because that kit uses tie rod extended ends added to the oe tie rod. This sleeve goes over the OE tie rod...
The front suspension of our 2015-2020 1500 SUVs are the same as the 2014-2018 Silverado trucks. For sure do a Magneride delete so you don't have to deal with service messages, etc.
So, since they are the same front end, pretty much any level/lift to the front that fits that model year Silverado...
If you're going with the 6" RC lift, then I would take a look at their Vertex 2.5 Adj. Coilovers with dampening control.
https://www.roughcountry.com/product/gm-vertex-coilovers-689001
From my experience, front coilovers are terrific; always kicking myself for not throwing down more $ and...
Take a look at the z71 trim rear coil spring. Going from the PPV to the z71 should be the 1" or so ride height difference you're looking for.
I swapped my OE magneride rear coils for z71 rear coils when I initially leveled my 2015 LTZ.
GM part#23154236...
Here's what I came up with through the RC website, using the 6" lift for a 2015-2020 GM SUV 4wd. Please note that I've selected a 20" wheel at 9" width.
This is not my strong suite, but I don't think wheel spacers will help get you to the 0/+1 offset. I think new wheels might be required.
My...
If you're not taking the AT4 on any off-road terrain, and not hauling anything significant, than yes, the "passenger" rated tire will be just fine. You don't really need the LT (load E) tires if you're only running pavement. If you go with the 285/55R20 (114T) then you'll get that aggressive...
