I ran billet Curries made for GM A-body, pictured next to the Sphons. For more of an off-road style, they make them for Jeep Wranglers that are close to the same length with adjustable joints and replaceble skids.
Yes, 3-4". Any more than that and you'll need adjustable control arms. Also, make sure you do the free travel mod or you'll be bottoming out everywhere.
I didnt use the pre drilled hole because I didnt like where it put the 2nd hole needed for that bracket. It would have landed the 2nd hole right on that recessed cup. My OCD wouldn't allow it.
Its a 4" drop. Thats probably the most you can get while still keeping the autoride. That shock is...
I installed the curved Spohn panhard in order to clear the diff cover. I've got 1/4" to 3/8" clearance between the swaybar and shock. I could probably get another1/4" by adjusting the panhard. I made the cable clamps by attaching a brake line clamp to a collar clamp. I also milled some billet...
I went the same route on my RST. Peel back the carpet between the 2nd and 3rd rows and slap in some sound deadening mats. Also throw some under the rear storage. box.
I find it funny, all these guys installing RST grills, while that was the first thing I replaced on my RST. I guess you always want what you don't have.
GMSUV-00-06-107. I's not on their website. You have to call them. You'll have to come up with some clamps to secure the parking brake cable. I had my son cut these on a CNC at work.
Like Mad Max said, Nope. Really, all you get with the RST package is color matched body pieces, black badging, RST wheels, and a high cap air filter. But, the 6.2l engine gets 3.5" exhaust. The GM performance/Borla is 3" into dual 2.5".
That Spohn straight panhard bar rides so close to the stock diff cover. They make a bent version that allows you to install a higher cap aluminum diff cover.
I was looking to go Borla too but my muffler guy talked me into the Magnaflow 14161 on my '19 RST. That's a 14" muffler, and I kept all the resonators. It's defiantly louder and has a smooth growl. It had some drone that went away when I installed an AFE Momentum GT intake.
Which Borla system is everybody installing on their RST's? I hear there are two, one GM performance branded system made by Borla and the other Borla Touring system from Borla Everything I've read says both systems tube sizes are smaller than stock from the cats to the muffler, 2.75" or 3"...
