Chrome wheels- to polish or not to polish

Aftermarket. Nothing sets off a ride like that bling on the wheels. It should be a sin to paint a set of polished wheels black.

    What’s your Hoes name?

My wife calls her Tally the Tahoe. She wanted rims and tires a little over a year ago. Got some rims, tires, and a couple other things for her!

    What tire, what lift

6 inch Rough Country lift with 35 x 12.5 x 17. The lift called for a back spacing of 4 and a half inches on the wheels (and a 2 inch spacer in the rear on both sides to even out the width). That is what I went with on the American Racing Wheels. I did have to cut the plastic at the back of...

    Regret level/lift?

6 inch Rough Country on 35" BFGs. After doing this I would not do anything smaller. If you're going to lift it, then actually get some clearance and go at least 6. Just a little trim behind front wheels. This is my wife's ride and she loves it. Fun to drive. If you care about mileage...

Boats and Hoes, Gotta have me some boats and Tahoes

Couldn't agree with you more! The only reason I'll be happy the day I sell this boat, is because I'm upgrading!!! I didn't get a picture of the full set up but a buddy of mine showed up with the classic bright yellow Chevy Dually and his 1975 Sanger V Drive with a 468. Boat had been sitting...

Boats and Hoes, Gotta have me some boats and Tahoes

Getting ready to take the boat and Hoe to Lake Havasu for the weekend. Damn they make a good looking couple. Summer is basically here! Anyone else have their boats and hoes ready for the summer?

    White letters in or out

White letters out. Just make sure not to buy some Gladiator M/Ts or Super America M/Ts because you can't shine a turd of a tire, much less try to show it off. 6" RC Lift with 35 x 17 on American Racing Wheels. Classic!

    2006 4x4 6 inch Rough Country and 35 BFGs

Steps on and all dialed in. So glad we went 17 inch shiny wheels. I am driving around now hating on 20" plus black wheels and nerf bars!

    2006 4x4 6 inch Rough Country and 35 BFGs

It wasn't too bad. Have at least 3 jack stands with you too keep the jack mobile. If you are doing a four wheel drive there is a bit of cutting and drilling. Cutting the large bolt hole tab off the body of the differential required a friend and I to read and watch the instructions 6 times...

    2006 4x4 6 inch Rough Country and 35 BFGs

So my wife wanted some rims and tires for her birthday. I wasn't going to twist torsion bars and just level it out so a 6 inch lift, American Racing Wheels, and some 35s are in order. THE RC lift is a nice set up. Only major issue was the shock extensions in the rear would have never fit and...
