    Oil Pressure

Thanks for your response. So, I guess it makes sense to replace it as preventive maintenance. It is on my list of things to do when I hit 100K.

    Oil Pressure

I was thinking about the oil pressure sender and its filter... Does anyone if the filter servers any additional purpose than to filter oil reaching the sender? I was curious as to how it functions... I am assuming it is fed from a main oil gallery, does if filter oil reaching the lifters via a T...

I've never seen these frame stickers on my gmt800

I also have one on my Yukon Denali regular length, different part #. Also found a transaxle sticker with DOM on mine. Frame was built on 11/24/11, TA on 11/30/2011 @ 14:49 and found an RPO web site that listed truck's birthday as 12/9/2011....

2012 Yukon Denali Lumbar Support Repair

Got it all back together... Just some minor filing of new L brackets to make them fit. Added some silicone grease to the sliders to allow easier movement. I noticed that the cooling fans for the seats did not work. Do not know it temperature related... Currently 41 in NJ. Will wait until Spring...

2012 Yukon Denali Lumbar Support Repair

Jut got the Yukon a few weeks ago. I noticed that the driver's lumbar support would go in and out, but anytime i wanted to move it upwards, a grinding/popping sound would emanate form the back of the seat but no movement took place. I finally took the seat apart today and found that there are a...

Tired of leaky/seeping axle seals! Is this going to keep happening?

Here's a couple of pictures showing the location on the vent tube. Had to drop axle to change oil cooler lines last week... Tube is right by filler hole.

Rear wiper not contacting rear glass

Make sure that the wiper arm went into the hole straight... The shaft usually has splines and you need to make sure they match the position from the arm. Seems that the arm is "cocked" in the shaft and not laying at a 90 degree angle and it does not apply full pressure against glass due to...

Replacing oil cooler lines - torque specs for front axle

Probably, as they snake under the axle as the oil cooler ones do... The connector to the trans is on the driver's side. Looks like it would come out from the rear... Here are some pictures I took for reference shortly after I bought the Yukon... Hope it helps...

Replacing oil cooler lines - torque specs for front axle

So, I finally got to do my oil cooler lines yesterday. Lifted one side of the car and used jack stands so I could go under it easily, front air dam keeps me from getting under. Started by removing the plastic belly pan. I then lowered the front axle via (2) 22mm nuts and (2) 18mm bolts that held...

Replacing oil cooler lines - torque specs for front axle

Well, looks like I have some weeping where the rubber hoses are crimped to the metal lines on my recently acquired 2012 Yukon Denali. It seems that the easiest way to install them is by removing cooling fans and dropping the front axle (4 bolts) to get enough clearance to swing them into place...

New Member - 2012 Yukon Denali

Well, after a couple of months of searching, I bought a one owner, clean car fax 2012 Yukon Denali with 94K miles on Saturday. It has been regularly serviced by GMC dealers. It is black on black and looks extremely nice! Got oil changed, new air filter and rotated tires yesterday. Tonight I just...
