Well I took it apart to see if was fixable. I read about cold solder joints on some that was doing what mine was with the abs and traction control lights coming on and dinging every few seconds which was annoying. But once I got it apart I realized it was nothing like that circuit board. So once...
I wasn't being pissy, I go to sources where people have dealt with issues before and can say instead of wasting your time with a bunch of dead ends. This is what worked for me and try it... That's all. I looked into all data and reading up on it I didn't see the benefit of it. But I will look again
Ok so now we are pushing subscriptions to the all data thing now? Ok that's cool, I just thought someone might help because that is what forums use to be about .. thanks for the info though
My 08 yukon xl aside from giving me the electrical gremlins has been a great truck. But recently I had to replace the abs control module and now about every 3rd start i will get 33 audible dings in a row. now I have not had it programmed as of yet because of this whole virus thing and everything...
ok so the hits keep on coming. So I installed a new abs control module and truck drove great. minus the abs and traction control lights that were on because it needed programmed and haven't done it yet. well Friday on the way to work driving in this Tahitian war storm of rain we had, I hit a...
Well apparently these abs modules are different and cannot be repaired like the other ones. The non Denali can be repaired. So now I have to order a new one. Do these need programmed after install? If so is it at least drivable to dealer for a program?
Much appreciated all the same. I purchased a different Bluetooth just now that supposedly came with a lifetime upgrade and can read abs codes. Torque obviously can't do it. It will be here tomorrow so we will see
Nothing... The check engine light is not even on. And if light is on I can read codes with my torque. But if it isn't and code is set internally then it cannot. The guy at dealer told me that the way to know if there is an internal code is to turn the key to on position and not start it. All...
Will do.... It will probably be sat when I get back to it. The problem is there are so many things it could be that it trips the end all be all of codes...
The truck was running great and then I went to back out of driveway Friday and it just popped up. No hint of anything before hand just ding ding ding... And lights.
They didn't... Didn't seem. To be to interested in helping. I will check all my connections and try to find a way to test brake booster for a. Vacuum leak
I had my codes pulled last night at AutoZone. 3 things all abs related. Which one is proba ly causing the others. Said both front wheel speed sensors, brake booster large vacuum leak and abs control module.
