    Holy parts cannon Batman! As was stated, take this one at a time. And when replacing parts, I highly recommend OEM in nearly 100% of situations. Replacement of the fuel pump with a “cheap part” is going to cause problems and aggravation either shortly or immediately.

    Depends on how they’re doing the rear main. Are they dropping the trans or pulling the engine? If they’re pulling the engine, I’d probably suggest some refreshing of components under the front cover as well (timing set, oil pump, cam retainer plate, etc.. of course depending on what was done...

    I’ve heard these work, but have no personal experience with them. Best bet in my opinion, would be to tune them out, with a tune from @BlackBearPerf . Then you’ll be way ahead of the game as well with a tuned, top running rig, and no CEL either.

    I bought my airaid kit, and I believe it came with a K&N, or AEM. I bought an AEM as a backup / replacement. Those are both good brands.

    Agree 100%, and if you had enough oil on that for it to actually leak out, it’s way too saturated. You’re going to see problems with the MAF from that I’d be willing to bet.

    The transmission has to come out, or the engine. It can be done either way. Sounds to me like this mechanic is hoping you’ll buy a crate engine, and leave your “old, worthless “ one with him for a cheap rebuild..

    If I’m understanding your post, the actual front diff moves 1/4” at certain times..? I guess I’d be checking the diff mount points, to determine why that’s happening. I may be confused by what you wrote, but it sounds like you’ve already identified the problem.

    They aren’t that hard to come by, but getting more expensive, as everyone wants them for builds as they are phenomenal bang for the buck, myself included-so if you do swap it, I’ll take your old one.. :happy107:
